No Vote Here...Just A Suggestion

I know it has been mentioned before but could we please try and keep the round number in the title field and if a post doesnt have a vote then put something like "No Vote" in the title. I would also suggest bolding your actual vote to make it easier for Jacob...he's doing a great job of this and I'm looking forward to All Star Fleetwood Mac Survivor when all the albums are done

Tynan
PS: Just suggestions to make it easier thats all, not trying to be a moderator or anything

Immunity suggestion and shameless plug

If we have a tie as close as this one was, why don't we just let them BOTH have immunity? That'd make things interesting. And also, if you just post an official "THIS SONG HAS IMMUNITY" post in bright red letters, then we'll all know for sure. Avoid dat der confeuuusion.

Ok, ok and I gotta do this .... if anyone here is into reality tv, please check out my site at www.whoisthespy.com. It's my own show which is based on "The Mole" on ABC. We're selling copies on DVD, a full season made by yours truly. If you like "The Mole" you'll enjoy it, I promise. And it even has Fleetwood Mac on the soundtrack! (I was never going to plug that in a post, but hell...this is "Tusk" survivor, might as well give it a go...)

 Please, lets not have to re-do the re-do of the re-do . This is getting ridiculous. Away with the immunity bull****!

Anyways, I vote for Walk A Thin Line. It's Lindsey's second weakest song on the album IMO.

I still say we should do away with immunity altogether.

Bull****. I can't believe you would stoop this low. Homer's answer was posted first. He wins. Why you would even try to sully this round already is beyond me. Really, it's beyond the pale.

I say drop Immunity altogether... it's nothing but trouble, and has already been the cause of an entire round having to be negated and re-done.

No, we don't have a controversy. We have you acting like a sore loser. Homer won fair and square.

This is not your game, but, again, you're telling us how it should be. Let Jacob run his game, alright?

Right on. I think Johnny is letting his power as a moderator go to his head. I find it truly incredible that he would even try to steal this victory from you. And here's a guy who just yesterday was accusing me of not playing clean when all I ever did was persuade people to vote my way.

Sad, very sad.

Sounds pretty bossy to me.

Meanwhile, I didn't tell Jacob to DO anything, I simply stated my opinion that a new question should be asked or Immunity should be dropped altogether, lest we have another controversy on our hands.

Stupid me though, I keep forgetting that the only time an outcry is acceptable around here, is when "Save Me A Place" is on the chopping block.

There you go again. This is sour grapes, pure and simple. If you don't wear glasses, it's time to look into it. Homer's reply appeared first. Really, dude, you seem to want to compare your tactics to mine, but you choose to do so when you are so clearly wrong it's laughable. You have a lot to learn about this game. ;)

Edit: I just reread this and noticed how truly funny this sentence was: If you don't wear glasses, it's time to look into it. The pun was completely accidental. All in good fun, folks. Let's not get crazy with this game.

What's so confusing about it? Yesterday's round was voided, and today SMAP has immunity. It's pretty straightforward.

Patti 08-26-2004 08:21 AM

Grrrr, is that damn song EVER going to get out of here????? Ok, I vote for Over & Over.

Dulcimer 08-26-2004 08:33 AM

Whew, people, can't we just play the game without all this craziness? Now we have a disqualified round, which I think was the right thing to do, and people are already trying to create chaos in this one? Let's just play the game, and be merry.

I vote for BEAUTIFUL CHILD.

JohnL 08-26-2004 08:47 AM

I vote for...

Walk A Thin Line...

Most of Lindsey's Tusk songs suck the big one in my opinion.

Beautiful Child

please save That's enough for me. It's pure punkrock. But then melodically strong. Only one man is capable of that......

Serrart 08-26-2004 09:06 AM

No vote (yet) but Beautiful Child appeal

To campaign for a song is accepted, so I'll go with my appeal:

Is anybody else besides me interested to defend Beautiful Child against the obscure power of a very well organized and bossy oligarchy? (Just getting a little dramatic for electoral reasons ;) ) It seems the only way to keep the song in the game is to vote for That's Enough for Me.
So, come on, let's try, before they join their forces again and kick out one of the best Tusk tracks.

Thanks for your attention!

Romy

and I thought games were supposed to be fun. All this negativity is a little juvenile if you ask me. Get on with it.

We're just playing to the drama, man. It's "Survivor". Melodrama and fighting is what this is all about

And with that, I'll vote "Beautiful Child" to try and keep "That's Enough For Me" around for yet another round.

Romy

There are about 20 "one of the best Tusk-tracks".

So every vote is conquering one of the best tracks. This game is about conspiracy, spying, politicking, drama, typing as fast as you can to get immunity and fighting. Seems like one hell of a great game. And it's about puting statements. And I love statements.

Obviously he was a few seconds ahead if it shows he was the first to post the answer.

This is getting beyond ridiculous.

Beautiful Child!

Cristian 08-26-2004 11:05 AM

I'm actually really surprised about how people take this 'game' so freakin' seriously. To me there were some hard feelings when "Brown Eyes" lost the other round, but hey... I still got it in the CD! And then they called me insane because I happen to NOT like "I Know I'm Not Wrong"... Ah, Fleetwood Mac fans (i.e. we) are amazing.

Do whatever you want, and I will still be in the minority, but I'll keep on voting the songs I don't like. I heard the album last night, and I actuall had to skip "Beautiful Child" in my listen (something that only happened to "Not That Funny", "That's All For Everyone" and "I Know I'm Not Wrong" previously)... I don't really know the reason why it got sooooooo tired in my mind, but that's enough for it to get my vote.

Beautiful Child

it is.

Just waiting for the flaming replies about how insane I am.

HejiraNYC 08-26-2004 11:05 AM

Vote: That's Enough for Me

Enough already- That's Enough for Me!

Tango 08-26-2004 11:51 AM

I guess That's Enough For Me as well.

Dulcimer 08-26-2004 12:01 PM

Hey, guys, don't let That's Enough for Me die. I like it a lot; it's one of my favorites on the Tusk album.

Cristian, I was not flaming, For me this game is as Tongue in cheek as it is for you. But it is great to exaggerate opinions. That's part of the fun. Hell no, that's all of the fun. And I never said you were insane. I said you border on insanity. Not correct english but clear enough to interprete that you were not called insane, isn't it.

your choice for this round is 100% better. :p

Last time I checked, a song getting voted off doesn't mean we're not allowed to listen to it anymore.

So I'm just playing along, folks. Drama seems to be the name of this game, so I was adding to it. :D

Sad, very sad.

Being a moderator is going to my head? Nice try. You must have a little Quixote in your blood, for all the windmill chasing you do.
If I was letting being a moderator go to my head, then I'd just re-edit all of the votes to boot "Save Me A Place." ;)

Heck, maybe I'll go back through the 'Tango Survivor,' and make "When I See You Again" come out on top! Hot damn!

And I decided to stop playing clean, when I saw that you had decided to.
Of course, since you still insist that you ARE playing clean, then I insist the same, dogoneit!

I do wear glasses actually. They're not the least bit flattering though... I need some new frames.

And, uhm, my tactics aren't the only ones that folks are finding laughable... so I'm not too worried. ;)

Oh, yeah, and SAVE "SAVE ME A PLACE"!!! I want that sucker to win!!! Come on, everybody, help me out here! We have to raise Lindsey's appreciation!!! If this song doesn't win, no one can ever like it again!!! ;)
