That was my neice - she's 8 and LOVES Stevie. I was taping and knew she'd be heard but it was sooooo sweet I couldn't silence her. We were close and it was her first show.
You brought back nice memories:)

It can be annoying but mostly it just makes me smile, especially since I think the band would think it was just the cutest thing to have a little fan like that!

I just remembered this one:

On the bootleg of Bob Dylan's March 2004 Electric Factory show (which I was fortunate enough to attend), at the end of the first CD, you can hear a fan saying, "(inaudible) stupider than Bush! Stupid Bush! Anyone stupider than Bush, raise your hand!"

I didn't hear it when it happened at the show.

funny things i heard

The funniest thing i heard on a FM related recording was folks playing pool in the background of a Fritz recording. There's little Stevie doing a nice song and >WHACK< a break of billiard balls. gads.....rudeness has no boundaries.

another funny thing was at the meadowlands '03 show, a girl of around 13 while watching Stevie's poses during GDW, ask her folks "has that woman gone mad or something?". The girl also was vocally mystified as to why the croud lost it if Stevie would do a simple 360 turn.......it's the kind of thing that if someone requires explanation, there is no chance that they can understand.

I hope i wasn't the only one who heard this (if I am, I may have imagined it).
During the 12/31/99 SN show in sin city, I noticed Stevie having some floor wedge monitor issues. I saw her nudge it, point at the floor wedge once or twice, look into the wings of the stage a few times, etc. I think she was wanting some assistance. Stevie stepped off for a little break, I heard a strange, sickening, vaguely male human sound of a what can only be described as "greltch". The kind of sound that makes one go white and feel kinda woozey. Stevie came back out, looking refreshed and the monitor gave her no more troubles that night. I keep trying to fill in the blanks, but it's all too strange.

Aw, I figured at some point I would find out who she was :-) Tell her that she has made me smile many times with her enthusiasm for FM! I thought that it was great that she knew the words to songs like Goodbye Baby and What's the World Coming to. What a great little fan!!!
