Interestingly, my daughter named one of her stuffed animals from Build-A-Bear Miranda. When I asked her where she heard that name, she said that song you play! I thought that was pretty cool, even though it is a pretty dark song....she loves it...

It seems pretty obvious to me that "Miranda" is about Edward R. Murrow's wife, Mrs. Edward R. Murrow.

However, the final stanza is about Mrs. Edwin Newman & Mrs. Edmund Wilson.

That final stanza is CLEARLY about Mrs. Edvard Munch!! Lindsey obviously adored her husband's work, as evidenced by his use of "The Cry" on the back-cover of 'Go Insane'!!!

To follow the chain here, i agree that Miranda should of been ONE of the first songs released, i really enjoyed this song and it stood out when i first started listening to the album, a lot more so in my opinion than Say you will.. Say you will to me isn't memorable, actually i cant even remember how it starts... To me that is single, one that as soon as it is mentioned you can play it in your head.
