Well Mick doesn't stop till he gets enough (money). That means never stops.

To be fair. Mick is the reason this board exists. Say what you want about him, but he's kept FMAC going and going and going.

Having said that, There are other ways for him to make some dough. Everyone deserves a living. Just do it with your boss, Le Nicks and call it something else.

I do see them calling it FMAC. I swear they will find a way to do it without the McVie's and Buck even if they needed to. But I promise, they will do it if they can. The environment is right for it.

I'm surprised at this point it's still a consideration. Of course Mick didn't really mean it when he said at the Grammy's FM was probably done with the loss of Christine.

Oh well, I thought you’d have said MacArthur Park. Maybe I love The Queen of Disco too much.

And Christine McVie was never coming back. Lindsey was never coming back. It always starts with this bs. With the loss of Chris, ...."probably over".

Of course he's going to say that. It was her tribute.

It's called INVESTMENTS. They provide you with enough income for the rest of your life(no matter how long you live). Maybe not Stevie money, but enough to live on comfortably.

But yeah, Old Goatsy should just hire him as her drummer or percussionist. That's the easy answer. Fleetwood Mac is dead.

This. His CFP should have convinced him 20 years ago to move half of all the cash he had into a Roth IRA invested in an S&P 500 mutual index fund. (There’s an annual contribution cap for IRAs but no cap on total account value.) He’d have plenty without resorting to selling wine at Costco or silly electro-vests or all the crazy gadgets he’s been involved in.

I don't think Stevie would be interested to re activate the band. Besides, no Lindsey, no Christine, and very likely no John, there is no point.

If Mick needs money again, she could hired him as drummer in her solo tours, and sing more Mac songs (if that means more revenue to Mick).

You have not been paying attention. (Unfortunately) Lindsey has always said he would go back. Mick changed his tune too and said he was open to having Lindsey back. Its true Stevie does not need Fleetwood Mac. But IMHO she has guilt that the only way she in her mind can get over it is to make (fake) amends with Lindsey on stage again. Its very predictable. It may not be a long tour but I have always said it would happen. Its not what I want to happen but I strongly believe it will happen. Stevie is proving she can still do it. Lindsey can still do it. Mick can do it and needs money. I think John is done though. I can see Dan Perfect being asked to partake.
BTW all of this is in the upcoming book.

Mick's never been smart enough to do these things. He always wanted to live like Stevie, on 1/10th of her money.
I've got an IRA, but also(right or wrong) invested a bunch of money into two different annuities, only because they're guaranteed for life. My biggest fear is living to be 95, but running out of money at 80.

Seriously, it’s over. They might try to do something but it won’t mean a thing…

People hate on annuities, but there's nothing wrong with buying a little peace of mind knowing you will have a guaranteed cash flow coming in despite whatever the market is doing.

That's IT. I've got no kids to worry about. I've got two financial planners, and we went through ALL the options, marking them off one by one, until we were left with annuities. It's about guaranteed cash flow for the rest of your life. Now, that said.......if I die before about 77, I lost, because it takes that long to be into "THEIR" money. But if I live to be 95, I was sucking off of their teat for the last 18 years. It's a gamble. But like I said, my greatest fear is outliving the money. I can't, this way. Hell, if I KNEW I was going to die at 65, I could be traveling the world constantly, NOW. With my luck, I'll probably die the day I enter into THEIR money territory.

EDIT - I'll add, that if you find out that you're terminally ill, you CAN cash it out, and spend your money on hookers and blow.
