You really HATE Stevie, don't you?

Just her attitude and ego, and sometimes the way she sings. I did like a few songs off her solo album. Did not like 24karat. I think she's more interested in being a star than an artist anymore.

Hope your mouth is better.

Well, I'm not super fond of other people's egos in this band either, but I try to be civil and respectful.

I've been civil to you. Just because I don't like her voice and her ego doesn't make me disrespectful. If you don't like LB's ego, I totally get it.

Here's an example. How does/would she "diminish" the work LB and CM have done?

Ok, fair enough.

She's been doing demos from the vaults. While Christine and Lindsey have been writing fresh music. They are actually recording together as a band. I don't want her coming in with her 3 songs and saying here, turn them into Fleetwood Mac. vs.. actually being in the studio and recording, singing, and writing with the other two. LIke an actually band.

maybe you were just pushing back on the other guy saying FM 4 would "soil FM brand" or some such nonsense. apparently all other incarnations were fine, but band's top hit-maker together with the architect of their sound and band namesakes would somehow spoil the brand.

Speaking for myself, I think if she's not as enthusiastic about making music with the band as they are about making music together, it will diminish the energy of the project. I don't think her presence alone will diminish what their work, but her negative energy would.

Yeah, I noticed nothing was said about the chiffon heads being uncivil or disrespectful.

I don't think you'll have to worry about that.

The brand would not be spoiled, just another version of it. I think most of us agree with that.

Most of WHO? It sure sounds(at least in the latest threads) that your "us" are in the minority.

I do sort of think that Stevie diminished Tango in the Night. I don't want her handing in a bunch afterthoughts and saying use these.

I think you are misunderstanding me. I was meaning most of us agree that FM could be a great, different version of Fleetwood Mac without Stevie in it.

and i again have to thank you for being the voice of reason!

i think reading thread after combating thread of people belittling Fleetwood Mac as a brand if SN is not a part of the formation is throwing us off. it may be just a really loud minority of fans disagreeing and requiring FM to not ever do anything without Stevie, in any circumstances.

i also think people are mixing up commercial and artistic, over and over.
