I'm beginning to wonder why....

I've a feeling it's time to try....

That's my favorite version, from the deluxe reissue(not? the last one they tried to sell us, but the previous one they tried to sell us...?) #whores

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5eCEdu_gQE

And Lindsey singing the high Bbs!!! He couldn't hit those notes now with a hammer.

"...to believe in Miracles...to believe in the ways of magic..."

I hope the new music sounds like 'You Make Lovng Fun'...

I have seen You Make Loving Fun, as well as other Fleetwood Mac songs, on "best yacht rock songs" lists when I google "yacht rock."

Good question. Whether she was offended or not, omitting her from the chorus of this song, parts of "Oh Daddy" set a precedent in the group's process. Stevie sang on the original studio takes of "Think About Me" and "Hold Me' and was removed from there as well.

At the same time, Stevie's other contributions to the final studio "Oh Daddy" and "YMLF" are important, as are her backing vocals on "Honey Hi," "Never Forget," "Love in Store" and "Everywere." I think LB and CM just made judgment calls as to whether or not her voice sounded good in certain areas of certain songs. Later on, when LB left, Stevie's presence on Christine's songs was still carefully placed--she's only audible on parts of "Save Me" and "Heart of Stone."

Bingo. Although, the resemblance is only evident on the electric (album) version. The iTunes acoustic version doesn't follow the bass-line patterning of YMLF. It relies instead on some really cool, percussive electric keyboards.
