But heaven knows I sometimes have an uncontrollable cough (that overtakes me at the most embarassing times) and I haven't smoked a day in my life.

Interesting to see that even though John gets recognized least often of the 5. He still has to deal with frequent interruptions -- at least at LAX.

I'm impressed and/or stunned that people have material to be signed. All I have is my I-touch when at LAX. lol

I love Lindsey, but I really love John. Interesting to see that the person chose to follow him with the camera and not Lindsey. You go John!!

yeah the cigarette police was out in full force. Notice how they zoomed in as he was taking a puff? Funny. It was cool to see him sign autographs. I also like how Lindsey was carrying his own guitar. Just struck me as funny.

That was fun to watch because we RARELY get any live views of John but am I the only one that thinks this was filmed a couple of years ago and posted as if it is new? Look at the man's stomach. He hasn't carried that excessive weight after his cancer treatments.

You're right. I asked myself the same thing.

It must have been people that expected to see them at the airport and had their memorabilia ready for that purpose. I mean, they wouldn't just be strolling along the street with their FM album in hand. I hope.

Derogatory? Neither was my statement about being a "rock star".

What I was thinking was about his patience. With the fans or professional
autograph hounds. Or simply just waiting to be picked up by the limo. Far
from glamorous, this part of being a Rock $tar.

The waiting to be picked up by a limo isn't so bad. I have to lug my luggage to the parking lot, so I'd welcome a chauffeur.

But no, I wouldn't want people taking pictures of me in my private life or interrupting me at dinner and the lot.

I guess Lindsey carries his guitar when he travels so that he can noodle around and constantly come up with ideas... he has loads of guitars as part of the tour- it seems funny for him to carry one home with him.

Either that or he enjoys being recognized as a rock star.

just a speculation, but we know that he has no access to all of the guitars that are a part of the tour since they are with the rest of the equipment which takes weeks to ship from the UK back to the US, and then probably back to AUS. he seems to be using most of his guitars on tour, since when he did the USC gig in between the legs, he had no access to his own guitars, both acoustic and electric, and he was using his guitar tech's guitars for that gig (many noted different guitars than what he is normally using when watching the youtube coverage of his Apr 29 USC gig).

so if he wants to have one of his guitars available to him between tour legs, to either work on new music or noodle around, he has to bring one with him on the plane, it would seem.

So, he and Lindsey didn't want to hug goodbye?

I guess that hand gesture thing from John and the high wave over the head from LB is as bromancy as those two get. (Insert Tim Allen grunt).

yeah one would right? apparently not the ones he can use for gigs. he said he's using all his guitars, that he's not a collector. remember also that USC gig he did back at the beginning of 2012 when his guitars were still back enroute from the ill-fated UK solo gigs? he used some beat up strat or something that he said was the only guitar he had available. said it was one of the first real guitars he bought.

to me it looks like they are waving and gesturing to someone behind them, not saying goodbye to each other, since the 2 of them walked together for a while after that. LB turns all the way behind him and waves really high.

I wonder how Mick and Lindsey part. I bet they touch as they bid adieu. Michele
