First world problems.

Not first world just the second...

Just got back from the cancelled gig after a four and half hour round trip. By pure chance my wife and I stopped at strensham services on the M5 motorway southbound for something to eat and who did we come across just walking out........Mr Mick Fleetwood! A few people were having their photos taken with Mick and I then stepped forward to shake his hand and asked who was ill. Mick said that Christine has lost her voice but that she will be ok in a couple of days and that the gig has been re-scheduled for July 7th. So hopefully the Isle of Wight gig should be unaffected.

That is truly incredible. Wow. At least it's nothing serious and hopefully Christine will be back in top form very soon. I think that's probably why she didn't feel confident enough to do Songbird last night.

Bummer for those who were heading to the show.

Get well soon, Christine. Hopefully it isn't anything serious. We love you, girl!

"Due to Illness".

Uh, huh, sure...they're SICK of each other!

Dustmybroom 06-09-2015 04:24 PM

Wishing Chris the very best of health. Long live the Mac...

After all that time on the road, those dogs were perhaps a little too welcomed.

I can't help it, but that strikes me as amusing. I guess he had a good excuse!

I have Manchester tickets. Hope she is ok for Friday, otherwise I will be fuming!

yeah! how dare a 71 year old woman get sick , all she has to do is get on planes , sleep in strange hotel beds night after night , shake hands with a few strangers , get in and out of cars and limos that are not hers , eat food prepared by strangers in hotels and restaurants and sing nightly after 15 some odd years there's no excuse

He certainly did! The only one that was a last minute cancellation was Motorhead, I got to the venue which was about an hour away and thought the venue looked surprisingly quiet...

The band is playing too many shows. They should be saving their energy for the next record. At their age they should be cautious and preserve what they have for posterity. Ugh...

LOL since the vitriol if Stevie had been the cancellation, this thread would be 15 pages long
