To give you a heads up (and anyone else going to D.C) some of the prices did drop a bit on stubhub. It happened early this morning after more tickets were posted.

plus, that album is not getting released anytime soon, if interview statements from Mick and Lindsey are to be believed. :distress:

The new album will be released next year. It's practicaly done. If they release a 13- 15 collection of songs they only need to record 4 Stevie songs and add her vocals to the mix. It will happen.

The album is already recorded and mixed. Of course stevie's vocals will be added later on. Fleetwood Mac has been doing the same thing for stevie since Mirage. Every studio album she's been involved with since mirage started without her, but her vocals we're added later on. This is mainly because of Stevie's solo career. She hasn't done anything yet, but she hasn't had time. Now we know why she was everywhere except in the studio with Fleetwood Mac back in March. It was because she needed to promote her new album somehow.

- Promoting Herself: Early April (Tonight Show, ACM Awards, AHS, RRHOLF, etc.)
- 24 Karat Gold: April-July
- Lady Video: End of July
- FM Rehearsals: August 4 - End of September
- FM and 24k interviews/commentary's: August - September
- On the road with Fleetwood Mac: September 28-December 20
- Tonight Show: November 4 (SN)

Exactly! This is how a FLEETWOOD Mac album comes together. We are talking about folks now in their late sixties/ early seventies. This album will see the light in the first half of 2015.

Hi, guys. I lucked out and got a great seat on ebay for $300 just 4 or 5 days ago. I live in DC and there was no way I was going to miss this show.

They are playing in Charlottesville next March. I checked on live nation and there are still good seats available at regular price. It seemed to me that the prices for Charlottesville were a lot more reasonable than the DC prices.

Thanks, Dreamz. I'm feeling a lot more confident after seeing that. It looks like there are about 500 on Stubhub alone, so that might be good. I'm still hoping for tickets from the venue. I've heard that Stubhub is safe, and I guess it is with instant download, but I've never done it before, so I'm still nervous. I told someone at school today, and he exclaimed, "I can't believe you don't have tickets!" So I was elated to see this when I came home!

I totally get it. This is my first time using stubhub as well. However, I feel a little better about it after being told by many that they have always received real tickets through instant download. One good thing is that if the seller is a fraud you will be able to get your money back. However, that would still put you out of seeing the show. Anyway, glad I could give you some good news. :D

another option.

I used the Ticketmaster resale option and got a ticket in Sec. 119 for $150 - check that option. I have sat in this section for a few concerts, and its actually an interesting place to see a show - you are almost on the stage, albeit slighting behind the band - but always good energy.

I expect ticket prices to drop big time the next few days. I still may try for close floor seats if the pricing drops (I mean, $10,000 for a second row seat - come on).

that's not a resale option - that's regular ticket that was not originally available. i've seen a few singles drop in that section in the last few days - you were lucky you were able to snatch it!

i love that sideview too!!

Steviegirl 10-28-2014 03:25 PM

Yeah, the side view is actually good. We were on Lindsey's side for the Charlotte show last year, and I really liked it.

Even better - for some reason I thought only resale tix were available, but I'll take it! I guess I should feel lucky... 3 more days and I'll get my side of the Mac! :]

Up next, my show - DC!

Reading online this morning as I enjoy my first cup, and came across this article in Metro Weekly - Fleetwood Mac's 25 Greatest Tracks. Just one guy's opinion.

ahh.. tomorrow night. I'm so ready to see this band - especially Christine, and I'm on her side!

I hope you have an amazing time Keith! The whole is still greater than the sum of the parts!

jcalzaretta 10-30-2014 10:45 AM

Ready for DC! It will be my third show. I went through Phili last night and regrettably did not think of staying. FOOL!
