I'm happy "Stand Back" is in the set list still. I think it's gotten better as the years went on. She seems to really let loose and have fun with it.

The best way to get Stand Back *out* of the setlist is to use it for your beer/bathroom/smoking breaks. When Stevie sees people leaving...well...we all know what happens to those songs.

It's probably the only solo Nicks song that just doesn't fit.
Call me crazy, but I think it ruins the energy of an FM show. Sort of like shoving a reminder of the 80's into a timeless setlist.
I wish they would lose it -- so many really great amazingly crafted songs that would be better toward the end of a show.

Great points! I agree with you. The song belongs only in Stevie's solo sets, along with her backup singers. It crosses a line and has no context within the Fleetwood Mac vibe. It was first performed shows in 1987, on their first tour without Lindsey.I didn't think it was an oddly appropriate choice then, and I'm horrified that it's become a staple in their sets now. If Stevie had written better songs for Fleetwood Mac during that time, there would be no need for this.

Having listened to the performance from last night on Youtube, I have to say I do think she sounds quite good on it.

Absolutely!

I was really surprised about "Stand Back", it sounded way better than four years ago.
And the images and lights on the big screen fit in really nice.

A pleasant und unexpected surprise.
