nice.

see i can't say that the list we came up with is what i want or prefer, but it was what we all combined came up with when working in the constrains that Stevie, Lindsey, and Mick put around the setlist for their upcoming tour. it shows that even in those constrains the setlist can very much differ from the same-ole tired one.

Here's a mixture of what I would like and what will probabl happen, i'll put mine in bold (the ones not in bold are not songs that i don't want them to play btw they're just songs that I know they'll play)

LB:
Big Love
I'm So Afraid
Tusk (probably)
Go Your Own Way
World Turning (yes i know it's co-written with Chris)
Can't Go Back
solo 1
solo 2
new song
Blue Letter
Tango in the Nigh
That's Enough For Me or The Ledge

SN:
Dreams
Landslide
Rhiannon
Silver Springs (probably, right?)
Gold Dust Woman (I debated weather to make this bold or not)
Seven Wonders
New song
solo 1
solo 2 (maybe) [if so i'd like them to do Bella Donna the song]
Sara (maybe)
Gypsy (maybe)
Sisters of the Moon (It's one of my favorites)
Storms

BN:
Frozen Love (maybe)
Don't Let Me Down Again, Crying in the Night or Long Distance Winner

Although it's not a favorite here, I love this BN idea if CM isn't going to join them on a few tour stops.

Actually, that could be a good idea, if she chose to be an honorary guest in certain cities. Then the Mac could have 2 set lists to alternate.

alternating setlists - now you are talking language i can understand!! :]

(not that it would ever happen lol)

Considering the fact that at the moment I'll be attending 3 concerts, I would be a fan of an alternating set list! When Prince played at the o2 Arena in London for a month back in 2007 he changed up his set list every single night so you never knew what you were going to get.

IMO I would love to hear some more music from Tango In The Night; Mystified & You & I Part II are two of my favourites. Granted, we would need Christine but I can dream...!

Just mix it up a bit, guys. Drop the Chris songs. Don't do Lal the hits. Give us mega fans something to drool over. ;)

Tori Amos does this every night on tour. I've seen her about 16 times now, attending multiple shows on the same tour, and never once had the same setlist.

This is the type of show a musician can label themselves a true ARTIST. This way she pleases herself and all of her fans. If FM did this I wouldn't mind forking over my life savings to attend multiple shows. It would be a fan's dream come true.

YES, i will cry (ok not really) if they do hits practically the whole way through. I mean come on! Make it interesting.

if it's done well, yes. i'm sure Tori does it well.

there are bands who were doing different setlists every night but they were crappily done most nights. unless fans following them around are to high all the time to notice, i would think nobody would want that option.

however, i do think they should at least have like 5-10 more songs prepared and alternate them from night to night so that every night is different and worth attending b/c there will be something special... kinda like Lindsey promised he'll do with requests on his next solo tour. or somewhat like Bruce does all the time.

here's updated deep cuts suggestion list that ledgies think band should consider:

I do believe he said that just to get people off his back.

yeah i'm probably one of those people.

he knows better, we are not getting "off his back" plus from some things i've heard he is and has been seriously considering it.

So Whats is the big deal on changing the setlist on every show.As long as the band and crew is on the same page before the show gets on the way. It should go fine.

Maybe thats a good question to ask Stevie and FM.
