:D

Also although I don't like Stephanie on the album, I did love it in OMS set!

 every single song in OMS set was fabulous, amazing version. except NGBA.

the only problem with that set was that it was too short.

You don't consider frozen love a rocker?

It was a difficult choice, but I went with Stephanie. That song brings goose bumps to my skin, and tears to my eyes! The melody feels like dancing, like twirling until you're dizzy and stumbling, just to get back up with a laugh.

Having said that, my close second was of course Crystal. ;)

There isn't one song I dislike, but I choose Long Distance Winner. Frozen Love is a very close second.

I do love all the songs on the album but have to choose a favorite I would pick two. I voted for Don't Let Me Down Again,My two favorites on the album are Don't Let Me Down Again and Frozen Love.

Frozen Love by far, but I think Races Are Run is beautiful as well.

When this poll was started I said to myself that you were gonna pick Races Are Run.

I haven't really listened to this album...much. :sorry:

I listen to Frozen Love all the time, but I need to listen to more songs from the album. This poll will help in deciding which ones are worthy of my most attention.

Don't leave it to us to decide that for you. Listen to the whole thing. It's a great album, every song.

Thank you. I think it was created by Bee. It's been a long time since someone complimented one of my sigs. Did you see the cool Wizard of Oz one I posted yesterday? I expected that one to receive lots of love but it got none.

MacShadowsBall 01-11-2013 10:35 PM

I finished the album. Here are my thoughts "live" as I was listening...

Crying in the Night - Stevie, excellent vocals
Stephanie - instrumental, okay
Without a Leg to Stand on - odd vocals; who's singing?; lotta acoustic guitar!
Crystal - not as soft/lush as FM version; Lindsey vocals w/Stevie on chorus; FM version better
Long Distance Winner - quirky rhythm; can't understand the words; similiar sound to Frozen Love; nice guitar solo
Don't Let Me Down Again - Second hand news meets World Turning; vocals mixed too far back; cool instrumental break; I picture Christine playing the maracas; I played my pack of Eclipse gum!
Django - another instrumental, two on the same record? kinda western sounding
Races are Run - awe how sweet/precious is Stevie; instrumental break; excellent vocals/harmonies
Lola My Love - what the heck is this!!; interesting/quirky rhythm; what key is lindsey singing this in its so low
Frozen Love - turn that volume up lets wake the neighbors!; hey I sound pretty good singing with 'em; instrumental break strings/guitar; excellent drums/vocals; nice duet

Overall a good album. There voices changed alot for the '75 white album. Not enough drums and bass for me though. my favorite is Frozen Love.

Oh no I didn't! You'll have to put that one into rotation again, and I'll keep an eye out for it ;)
