Yeah, you're right about that. Hotel California should have been on that list.

Also, what is the deal with so many hip hop/rap songs in the 90s/2000s?

At least the list does go back beyond the 1960's.

No rap is good. No rap should make list of the best of anything.

I beg to differ. There are crappy rappers with garbage lyrics that are all about one or two things and it's mostly the horrible crap you'll hear all the time. But ever listen to Tupac... Certain good rappers tell stories very distinctively, their lyrics are very true, vulnerable, and as Elton said, "If you don't have the intelligence to see their intelligence then that's your problem."

 Yeah, this is surprising.

6 of my favorite songs are on this list, so i'm also quite surprised, but in a good way. Suite : Judy Blue Eyes, especially, is an excellent song and deserves this. Dreams deserves this too. Usually Fleetwood Mac die-hard fans don't recognize its awesomeness, but people outside, who don't really know the band, tend to like this song more than the others, at first.
And also it's my favorite song ever, so i'm happy, right now, for this :D.
