Thanks so much, Jeff, as always!!! :woohoo:

I had a few more to post today, but mediafire finally started giving me problems: "Prettiest Girl In The World" and "Rock A Bye Baby". Maybe tomorrow.

Again, thanks for cleaning up "All Over You"! It's even clearer!!!! :]

Wouldn't we all? That's the point. :) Hopefully, this thread will rustle up some amazing upgrades! :] The upgrades I've gotten of "Greta", "Ooh Ooh Baby" and more have been from threads like this on here, so maybe this will catch someone's eye, and they'll go, "I've got better quality than that!" and post it!

Well, it's my dream... ;)

That's my dream, too. Here's a great uninterrupted Stevie Nicks Live at Red Rocks recording I remastered if anyone's interested. Sounds much better than what's available.

I found one of the versions of What Has ... but I'm sure I have one way clearer than this. This is from the "tango sessions" compilation.
It's ripped at 192 kbps straight from the LOSSLESS format (Unfortunately I don't have the lossless version...)

What Has Rock & Roll Ever Done For You:

Even though it's from a Tango compilation, it's very Rock a Little. Just misplaced I guess

I CALL YOU MISSING

I only have ONE copy of this song, it's decent, but not the best. If anyone has better quality than what I have posted below, PLEEEEEASE upload it ;)

I heard a long time ago that this song was her "divorce song" to Kim Anderson & that it was intended for Rock a Little, but maybe she didn't have the room & held it over for Tango, but decided ultimately against it? Who knows... there's so many demos that have different versions from different periods of time/albums, that still never ended up being used, so this is yet another I guess...

Yeah that's true. I heard before that there's a RAL era version of "Sorcerer" floating around.
But vocally on this What Has Rock & Roll Done For You, it sounds more like it was recorded in the Rock a Little era - and like, I guess being as none of these compilations were made professionally, someone might've bunched it in with other Tango demos.

Not like it really matters anyway lol. Although I thought I should put that in because some people around here seem to be really condescending about what-stevie-demo-belongs-where :P

I've posted these before, but this is a good place to put them again. This folder has the best sounding Mirror Mirror alternates that I've heard - and they're lossless. A great Thousand Days demo is in there as well. The sound quality is really amazing on these!

I got some masters recently in the mail, and these were on a CD that was labeled as something else - I think it was a mistake, but the person never wrote back when I asked about them. I was pleasantly surprised, and the sound quality really is a drastic improvement.

No kidding. I never really bothered listening to the other versions of Mirror Mirror solely because they were too muffled.
Where do you find these masters that you can buy? Because I've looked on e-bay and can't really find any.

I would love to get my hands on some of the original tapes of demos if possible. Like, the compilations (ex: Uncirculated Rumours, Rocking a Little on the Other Side of the Mirror) because I'd like to upload them in lossless format just to preserve quality. All mine totally SUCK now. And a lot of them are starting to skip towards the end....

There are reels on eBay every now and then, but the best way to get masters is just by trade, or online sites like this.

Many of those demo compilations are hard to find in lossless quality because they've been traded so many times. Every now and then you'll get lucky.

All the other files downloaded just fine but these three won't.

It's working for me but if you want I'll try posting it on Megaupload.

Thanks for posting these again, Mathew! These are excellent and definitely worth downloading for anyone that hasn't heard them yet.
