Got it..

Very Best Of just got released here today. It's got a different slipcase cover but the rest ...the SAME as the USA 2CD 2002 edition. RIPOFF. lol,I still bought it though :p Euro14.99 Not bad I suppose. It was placed 4th on the shelf of 'hot new releases'..just under Micheal Buble's new one.
Pathetic of them not to at least issue it with Peacekeeper or SYW on it..or a new track. Is that easking too much?! pfft.

Fleetwood Mac are about to bring their classic AOR sound to the UK for a major tour. They’re reissuing The Very Best Of Fleetwod Mac compilation in a remastered form to coincide. And we’ve got 10 copies to give away.
Now, if you’ve already got a copy of this album, then there are two reasons why you’ll want to get this. Firstly, it’s totally remastered. And secondly, it’s now in a two-CD format for the first time in the UK. That means 36 cracking tracks from Stevie Nicks and the guys (and girl).

Hey Bryan and BellaDonna93, does it sound remastered? Are the tracks better sounding than the original release?

I think so, yeah, they are :)

It was remastered in 2002...this one is identical in sound. Still crisp though...listened to LOUD today :)

This makes me want to bang my head into a wall, seriously. I feel like Mac has given up at doing anything creative that takes even the smallest morsel of effort.... all because they are "safe" in both touring and releasing greatest hits stuff. It's like they don't think new material is worth pursuing since it won't have quite as wide of an appeal. And I'm not even talking new songs-- apparently, its too hard to even release this remastered Rumours with the new footage. I'm all about putting SOMETHING into the public but people aren't going to buy four or five greatest hits albums with the exact same tracks on them, give or take a few songs.

Hmph. I really hope Stevie's right and they do discuss a new album in January... and that, god willing, it actually happens.

I wonder if a remastered Rumours will sound just like the original? The only reason to buy it would be for the DVD. We already have a remastered Rumours with demos we've heard a million times and a waste of a track called Butter Cookie, Keep Me There.

Yeah, but the DVD is something new, something to look forward to.... it's better than nothing (or another greatest hits album). But all the same, I won't be happy until new material is recorded.
