It's filled with great footage: Fleetwood Mac in concert in Cleveland, traveling on tour, picking up their 1978 Grammy, press conferences, Stevie Nicks on piano, and several then-new interviews. It was colorful & exciting for us Macheads who watched it air on TV (airing after an especially distasteful installment on seal-clubbing & factory-farming).

Yes. I'd forgotten about that one, which is stupid, considering I watched it again on youtube a week ago.

Destiny Rules is bumped to 2nd. Rosebud + Rumours Outtakes is so intriguing. Alexa... you are amazing, yet again.

ThrownDown.net loves both of you. It just sometimes has a hard time showing it. :sorry:

I just re-watched Classic Albums: Rumours. I'd forgotten how good it was. I don't think I've ever seen John talk so much. It was refreshing. Ken and Richard's contributions about how the songs were put together, and the "bag" story should give a good indication of what Ken's book will be like. Also for those of you wanting to see the inside of the Sausilito Record Plant, here's your chance! Plus Lindsey isolating Stevie's GDW wails/screams and then making the comment about them all being "under duress" in a perfect deadpan voice was very funny. I don't know if it's my favorite (probably still the Tusk Doc), but it moved up a few spots.

Definetly The Tusk Documentary and Destiny Rules as well.

Fleetwood Mac: A Film by Rosebud

I'm very curious if anyone knows where to get the best quality copy of the ROSEBUD promo film? I've purchased a few from eBay that were not that great. One even had the title "a film by Rosebud" blacked out digitally.

I read on the following website that a DVD called "Rumours: Behind the Scenes vol. 1 & vol. 2" contain the highest quality known of Rosebud.

http://www.angelfire.com/mac2/nickslive/video.html

Does anyone have this? Does anyone know the source of it and if they are still making copies of their high quality source?

How does it compare to this clip I found on YouTube from a British show - which has the highest contrast I've ever seen of "Rhiannon". You can actually see people backstage behind Lindsey and Christine.

I'd love to find the DEFINITIVE copy of Rosebud.

Bahaha :)

I think I like the Tusk Doc the best just because I love that era.

Love Rosebud/Rumours outtakes too though! Too hard to decide. :o

I have some of these documentaries on my trading page (link is in my sig) -- let me know if anyone's interested :)

I haven't seen many FM docs (I saw the Classic Albums for Rumours on VH1 Classi and TBH, I was a bit bored by it, and I'm yet to see Destiny Rules), but if I had to pick, I'd definitely go with Tusk doc. The performances are killer (especially Angel), the inbetween bits are interesting, and I only wish it was a tiny bit longer. Close second has gotta be Rosebud.

BTW, can someone show me this Rumours backstage footage?

My favorite is the Disney documentary from '93, Going Home I think it's called. That was a really interesting doc that showed a lot of great clips and concert footage from throughout the years.

 DEFINITELY. It's just too bad that they couldn't do a "revised & expanded" sequel, picking up where they left off and bring it up to date.

Does anyone have any good quality MP3s of Rosebud?

Classic Albums: Rumours, Rumours tour backstage, and Destiny Rules are my top favorites. :)
