I've seen this a gazillion times and I still get goosebumps when Stevie comes crouching back out in that blue light. Gorgeous! And a great vocal performance too. I also love Rhiannon from that Mirage video.

Why do y'all think she can't do it? If it's the voice, she's sings everything else lower now. Or is she afraid of hurting her voice. She probably doesn't want to sing it if she can't perform it like she use to.

That's THE BEST VERSION EVER of SOTM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sure that is the case, but I am certain that she would try it one more time. Surely.

From the minute she stomps out on stage banging on that cowbell...My favorite part is towards the end when LB is leaning on Stevie as he's playing, while she's shaking her head, looking very distraut (you all know the part!). It does kinda bug me that they used footage from the second (or first) show in LA for the middle part when she's dancing and then did a horrific job editing the pieces together. Still, it's pure magic!

Agreed, the edits almost kill a really amazing performance... Sound and Video Edits...

I totally agree but I think it could be just as powerful in her lower register and limited physical movements as it was...just in a different way. Gold Dust Woman still holds a lot of power and intrigue as it is performed today. I think Sisters has that same potential. The song now come be coming from a place of wisdom and maturity which would make it all the more haunting and powerful.

Yeah, those two performances were pretty darn good...the second night was actually the better of the two performances.

For those who don't know...this video was filmed over two nights. The first night was what I call the "giggles & grins" night, they were all smiles and seemed happy to be there. The second night, was "I'm gonna kill you" night...they weren't getting along...any of them. It was all "if looks could kill" daggers being shot across stage. So, basically that's how you can tell which clip is from which night...if they're glaring at each other, it's the second night, if they're smiles, it's the first.

The first night was musically tighter, but the second night was a helluva lot more intense, but a bit sloppier both musically & vocally.

^ Which night did LB not wear underwear?

Well I will have to wait till May, glad you are seeing them very early in the tour. Stevie's voice will be in good form and not tired. I saw her opening night on CV tour and I swear she sounded better then I have ever heard her including the Dance tour. I heard nuances and inflections in her voice that really surpried me. The whole band actually breathed new life into Dreams as well, they sounded so fresh and invigorated.

Anyway I will either see them in Vegas or in San Jose Ca, not sure yet. No good tickets are popping up so I will wait until they do. I may go to 2 but I doubt it in this economy.

Where are you seeing them? Are you seeing them in an arena? I wish they were playing outdoor venues her in Ca, I really disslike arena seating.

And that would explain why she disappears and then magicaly reappears in the middle of the stage, maybe they did that on purpose for the witches out there.

Its very difficult to get people my age and younger into the Mac, but one sitting of live SOTM usually does it. Ive yet to meet somebody who hasnt looked at me and gone.."Wow". definitely DEFINITELY Stevie's best live performance.

I don't think it's hard to get people our age into the Mac, but I do agree that SOTM is very impressive. I don't know if it's Stevie's all time best performance but it is very powerful.

No? I don't know anyone my age who listens to the Mac. However, I only turn 21 in July... so I'm probably younger than most on this forum, eh?

I agree, Sister of The Moon is near perfection on the Mirage video. Also agree that it was a terrible editing job. But all in all, it's the Mac at their rocking best.

If all you heard from Fleetwood Mac was this version of the song, you'd think they were a hard rock band.

As much as I would like to hear her do it live again, do you think she could do the song justice?
