Well, that's irrelevant, being that she's 6 years old. Hopefully, she's always attended, no matter how great a swimmer she is.

This is a terrible thing to happen, regardless of who's child she is. My heart goes out to her and her family at this moment and they are all in my prayers. :distress:

Whatever the story is, I'm so glad she's okay. That's such a scary thing.

That was a very close call. I hope she's alright. Mick and his wife must have been scared out of their wits. Does anyone know if she's still in ICU?

A boy died of this a month or so back and it was all over cnn about how he "silently" drown by asperating.

It's scary because death is only one casualty. Brain damage is another. Any parents' worse nightmare.

I heard this morning that she was still in the hospital; in stable condition. Lots of love and strength to Mick and his family.
