No, no, no... that distinction belongs to "The Second Time"

But "Paper Doll" isn't far behind. ;)

I've been listening to "The Second Time" a lot lately, trying to figure out what makes it so bad (yeah, I'm a masochist ...). I don't think it can be that it's a bad song, since the melody itself is so simple, but Stevie's voice sounds a bagpipe.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I really like No Question Asked.

Bagpipe, that's an interesting comparison. I always just likened her voice on that to a piss-poor Bob Dylan impression.

Well I like this song very much. And my word goes. So No Questions Asked shall forever be known as a good song.

Here's your second squire Master Ryan.

"No Questions Asked" is ...... greatness. This was Stevie's confessional period during TOSOTM.

I love it.

No Questions Asked is definitely one of my favorites, not really too sure, however it just envokes great memories of road trips to Vancouver as a kid.

OMG How can you NOT like 'The Second Time'. It's a great ending to a great album. Not the best FM album BY FAR, but still a great one. I heven't heard Paper Doll...is it one that was only available on 'The Chain' boxsett? I never bothered with that - I could never afford it.

I'll give you the 'great album' part of this statement, since Behind the Mask is one of my favorites, but great song? Not by a long shot.

Yes, as far as I know, "Paper Doll" was only released as part of "The Chain."

Most people round here hate The Second Time (one of the worst Stevie vocals among other things), I've actually only seen a couple of other people who claim to like it even among Stevie's hardcore fans.

Ahhh thats just odd. I love all four of Stevie's song from Behind the Mask (Love is Dangerous, Affairs of the Heart, Freedom, The Second Time), "Freedom" being my favourite with "Love is Dangerous" coming in at a close second. The only song I don't like on BTM is 'Hard Feelings'

I love "Hard Feelings," though "In the Back of My Mind" is the best song on the album.

I hated "The Second Time" even when I was still a Stevie fan.
