I love cats, had my last one for 17 years.. He was huge (not fat just big). He was called Pepsi.

I don't have the time to devote to a cat right now so I don't have a proper pet anymore, although I have about 30 or so fish outside in the pond..

The only other major star that is as polite is Tom Hanks, another gent.

BTW,

Amber, I love that picture in your sig! It's the best one yet... An "in motion" shot..  Can u mail it it me? I want it as a wallpaper!

Four members of a freelance camera crew were arrested at the War of the Worlds premiere in London after its star Tom Cruise was squirted with water. The 42-year-old actor's face and jacket were drenched with water squirted from what appeared to be a microphone.

The crew was working for Channel 4, which said it hoped Cruise would see the funny side of the stunt which was for a new comedy show. The four men were arrested on suspicion of assault and later released on bail.

Cruise - who attended the premiere with his new fiancee Katie Holmes - was talking to journalists in Leicester Square when he was squirted with water. The star struggled to keep his composure as he repeatedly called one of the journalists a "jerk". He said: "That's incredibly rude. I'm here giving you an interview and you do that, it's incredibly rude." The actor held the interviewer until security guards arrived and then towelled himself down before signing more autographs.

You can link to a video of the incident on the webpage above.

That's rather revolting. Regardless if Cruise and Holmes are the most obnoxious people on the face of the Earth right now, it still doesn't excuse that kind of thing.

Kind of ironic how this happened just after my beloved Nicole was excoriated by the paparazzi at the Bewitched premiere.

Aw, cute. I hope Mufy lives to be at least 20. Although I know that's a loong life for a kitty, it's possible!

You have a fish pond that you stock?

Get 2 cats that way they have each other when you are not around. Unless it is for days on end or something.

No I don't stock it. It's a reasonable size but not huge or anything.. I had about 7 or 8 large Comets and Shubumkins but the randy buggers bred last year and I've got about 30-35 fish in there now.. They are getting frisky again right now... Here's a picture attached from 5 minutes ago....

Yeah, I was kinda kidding around even though I do think he's one wacky m.f.. What I REALLY think is that he just had a to take a few minutes to process the situation like anyone would.

It's the whole scenario that makes this particular incident funny not the fact that T.C. got sprayed with water. Actually, that on its own is not even really funny, it's really more the fact that this was a lame joke concocted by some jackass who thought that it would be the height of hilarity to spray Tom Cruise with a microphone that spews water , THEN said jackass gets arrested for it. I'm sorry, but that is a total hoot in my book. Tom is really only incidental here.

And the mental image I conjured when I first read the story was pretty funny. So sue me, I contend that it was a harmless reflex !

Gorgeous, I love it. Is the netting to protect the fish from predators? "randy buggers"

The net protects the fish from, funnily enough, the neighbours cats!
But it also stops any local herons from getting their dinner from my pond.. Plus it also stops the fish from dying if they jump out of the pond when they get frisky.

It's a shame, I would rather have no net but it's better for the fish..

I totally agree, it was a really stupid gesture. He's great with the public at premieres. Even I can see that.

So here's what I'm hearing about that relationship.

A source VERY close to the deal is saying there's a contract.

It's worth $5 million.

It's for five years.

There will be no sex.

The deal was sealed June 7.

That's what I'm hearing.
