MP3s are compressed, which greatly reduces the file size(which is WHY they are so popular), but also creates signal loss in the file. The "bit torrent" stuff is "lossless", but takes MUCH longer to download, and more room to store.
Most of the bit torrent people are ADAMANT about not converting anything to MP3s. :rolleyes: |
