For some reason, I just can't see Oprah and Stevie together...I think it's something with their personalities...I get the feeling that Stevie doesn't really like to be interviewed about stuff other than her music...although when she was on Rosie O'Donnell, they were joking around about soap operas...but I really can't see Stevie giving enough stuff to Oprah to fill an hour long show.

Stevie should suck it up and talk already.
I mean I think it could do a lot of good to talk about the bad side of drugs - what they did to her etc....and how she overcame those obstacles etc..... I think she and Oprah would do well together - Oprah can get along with anyone ;) |

Yes!!
FM should go on Oprah...and she should do one of those favorite things days, where all the audience members (ALL Ledgies, of course, hehe.) get FM stuff!!
|
OMG - could you imagine, if FM or SN was on Oprah, and Oprah's producers filled the audience with only people from The Ledge??? And then they opened the floor to questions????
:blob1: :blob2: :blob1: :blob2: :] :blob2: :blob1: :blob2: :blob1: (Are you listening, all you fine producers of Oprah?) |

oh, no. He'd get inside and be all "Stevie, for god's sakes, get a stylist! And what were you thinking with Too Far From Texas? And That Made Me Stronger? Biggest piece of crap you've ever done!" I'm sure there'd be some kind of riot... |
It would be interesting to see Stevie try to answer questions and discuss her life honestly in a supposedly unscripted context and with a less scyophantic host than say Rosie O'Donnel.Over the years Stevie has always more than couched the truth of what she was going through at the time only to come clean years or decades after the fact.I remember a Bella Donna era article when she claimed she couldn't even remember her own phone number ,which was most likely true .Then incredibly went on to say 'it has nothing to do with drugs or anything like that'!!!!And of course it took her 20+ years to admit that GDW wasn't just about groupies .Don't anyone hold your breath waiting for her tell all auto- biography since she has already said she is going to wait until everyone else that the beans could be spilled on is dead or too old to care anymore ,and this was years after she claimed to be writing one she would call "The Wild Heart' due out in the mid 1980s.No wonder some shrink thought she needed to be on heavy duty psych meds.

I definitely think there's a reason why they've never done it, though, and i respect that. |
