Island Soap Candle Works

Why do I have a feeling these folks are about to be deluged with orders? :)

After reading this Stevie sounds like the coolest 50 year old on the planet! She sounds like a lot of fun and it is nice to hear what she is like in real life. I thought these Q&As were great!

No, not the Rhiannon print. It was like birds, and abstract images. Nothing instantly recognizable.... maybe it was stuff Stevie drew especially for the tour? I dunno...do you believe I don't even own the LIB DVD yet? But I'm sure you can see it on there.

I really like Cory's writing she should make a job out of it. The Q&A has been great, IMO. I think she said as much as she could in a very funny and personal way. I agree, Stevie sounds so gracious and cool  and I want a coconut scented candle right now. :D ;)

I can't remember exactly where I read the article... I'm sure it must have been posted on The Ledge at some point... but there was an online interview with Curry Grant, and another fellow, regarding their work as the lighting directors/stage designers for the 'SYW' tour.

They talked about some of the little touches they did, including the use of the projection screens behind the band. They discussed how they chose color schemes, and mentioned showing the clips from the "Gypsy" video, etc., and that they projected images from Stevie's artwork during "Rhiannon."

The article had some photographs included, illustrating the use of the projection screens and lighting effects.
I'll try to attach the one taken during "Rhiannon."

You get some quick glimpses of the screen during "Rhiannon" on 'Live In Boston,' and I could swear that I noticed the famous "Rhiannon" painting used as well... but I could be wrong.

Cory's Q and A is a fab read and not in the least bit boring... I'm not a Stevie fan at all, but there's lots of interesting stuff in her answers :D
I agree with whoever said she could write all about her time backstage, sounds like she had a lot of fun anyway. Thanks Cory.

Thanks for posting that Johnny! I had never noticed this. Wonder if that was because I was always down the front

 because we're just that sad

I also think that Fracas may see an increase in sales right about now ;)

My word, enough Stevie questions? I think I came away with every tidbit of information about that woman, with the exception of what underwear size she wears.

??? No offense to Cory, but I'd think John would know his own political leanings a little better than she would. ;)
