Niiiiiiice...I was thinking a CMcVie song would be just the thing, but i couldn't think of the one, cause i dont' "do" her much. My favorite is Heart of Stone, so that doesn't really work. Neither does "Isn't It Midnight" :laugh: but somehow, i thought she should have the intro...

Oh yes, I do have Live 1980 so I have heard it a few times- but I do have a lot of catching up to do! The only pre-1975 album I have is Mystery to Me and I love it!

Even though I've had several other older FM albums, Mystery To Me was the only one I really got into, for a long time. MTM is greatness! This past summer, I finally got obsessed with Future Games and Bare Trees. I suggest you try one of them next. :)

I think using The Chain would be perfect... Maybe it's because of listening to the way it's used over at fmlegacy.com for the opening to the website... but if it were stretched a little longer, it could work.

The Chain has already been used as a theme song. It was used for the Formula 1 highlights programme, Grand Prix, on the BBC for many years until the F1 coverage switched to ITV. They started at 3:05 into the track (yes I remember it that well) and go right through Lindsey's solo until just before they start singing "Chain keep us together".

The use of The Chain as the theme music for this programme is the reason why I'm an FM fan. For years I always wanted to know who recorded that piece of music. I eventually found out that it was FM in 1987 when a school friend lent me a tape with Rumours and Tango on. That tape got me hooked on FM, which resulted in the purchase of every CD they've done, a lot of the solo CD's, seeing them 6 times live, buying a few t-shirts and even a cell from an animation on E-bay!

He's in his teens... he hasn't really had a chance to "find" early Mac yet. It took me a while, too, when I was at that age, to have the financial resources to start investigating pre-Buckingham & Nicks FM.
I knew "Oh Well" from 'Fleetwood Mac Live' and from a radio show I taped, which featured British bands and their most famous songs, but that was about all I knew of the original Mac for a long time.

Hopefully the "youngins'" will realize that Fleetwood Mac's rich history is most definitely worth looking into, and that their best music doesn't necessarily begin and end with Lindsey & Stevie. :nod: :)

But, it's also possible that someone may not like early mac, as well. You know, difference of opinions and all that?

TISL would be amusing to...But SHN is also good just edit the green grass line.
I remember we used to have this at my school until a kid slipped Happiness is a Warm Gun (Beatles) into the line up, well the teachers had a fit :laugh:
