Not to mention they're ridiculously out of tune & I'm well aware that I can't sing, so...

Paula

Hey! I was probably one of the ones singing!  :wavey:

Isn't it?! Glad to hear I'm not the only one who finds it creepy (and utterly hilarious).

That happened to me during Beautiful Child in West Palm Beach. All of the sudden Stevie looked at me (I was in row four right in front of her mic) while singing the song and I almost fell to the floor- I was weak in the knees and speachless!

The neatest feeling in the world is to look out into the crowd and see people singing along with you... or clapping and dancing... it just really makes you feel like what you're doing is worthwhile, even if it is just a song. I get more into the clapping and dancing than I do the singing because I'll be tempted to start singing really loud and tear up my voice. That hasn't stopped me before, though. :D

Ummm...awkward pause...well...umm...I'm sure you were the one person IN tune! :D

Paula

PS - just realized I have no clue how to spell awkward.

I *used* to sing very loudly along with the band. When I was seeing Stevie for Enchanted, I sang SO loud but we were off by ourselves so it was ok.

Now I am so scared to piss people off I never wear heels, and I try not to sing. It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOO hard but I really try. I lip synch and try not to move too much ( forget it for Stand Back though!)

I hate it, concerts are fun but it's mostly spent trying not to get anyone angry.
