Hello,

We are very sorry that you have not received this calendar.
Please send an
email to [email protected] with your full name, member login
and current
address. A new calendar and letter will be sent as soon as we
receive this
info.

Thank you for being a loyal Fleetwood Mac Fan.

A "new" calendar? As opposed to an "old" calendar? Or are they trying to imply that they DID send it, and I just didn't receive it? WhatEVER! Well, let's try this and see what happens. I love how they ignored everything else I mentioned (the fan club discounts, etc.)

I have not received my calendar either and I am so disheartened that I cannot believe that our fight ended up like this.

Some of you know that I am sick, but, for those that do not, I have breast cancer. I have lost both breasts and I am not ashamed to share it. I am scared to death. My heart wants to continue to fight for all of us and I cannot do it now. I have lost hope in the club and pray that they do something. I really do. I want it to be good for us all.

I know that a lot has been posted on Micks site asking where are we fighters now? I am still here, just being forced to fight for my life and can't fit both in. I will help anyone that I can. I am sorry that I can't fight in front now. Fleetwood Mac just cannot possibly realize how much their fans love them. How many of us there are.

with you. Please don't give up in your fight against this disease. I can somewhat relate to how you are feeling since my wife Debbie is also fighting cancer (Hodgkin's Lymphoma) and she is still very scared.

Just hang in there...My thoughts are with you,

Brian j.

ps-I clicked on the Breast Cancer link to help fund more mamographies, I suggest others do the same.

Darling, I've been worried sick about you for the last month. Try to get in touch with me when you can so we can talk. I pray that the surgeries went down without a hitch!

As always, I send you my love and wishes for the best. :)

Thank you all so so much. They think that they got it all, I have had the best plastic surgeon that you can get. My biggest thing now is that my lungs have collapsed, which is not uncommon when you are under so long. The two surgeries, removal and the plastic sugery, ran around ten hours. So, the bottom of both lungs collapsed. Now only the left bottom is still collapsed, but, it makes me tired. It is a huge adjustment and I am plugging along. I didn't want ppl to think that I just went away, and just said screw it, I didn't. I just had to do this thing now.

I hope that I get to see the Mac in NC this time around...two shows...woohoo..:wavey:

I'm so relieved, as I'm sure you must be! :D I'm positive that the worst is over and that all you need to do is recuperate.

Talk to you soon, sweetheart. :wavey:

I am glad they think they got it all but still, I am sorry about your lungs :(

My mom had an tiny tumor in the duct about four years ago when she was abround 72. It was so small, they could barely biopsy it. They determined it was cancer. She chose to have her breast removed and was just amazing about it. She refused a new breast commenting "it has served its purpose and I have already worn gay deceivers my whole life" In fact, while she was in bed and immediately after hearing she had breast cancer, she turns to my sobbing father (WHO NEVER CRIES) and calmly says in her best Southern lilt "There will be time for those in private and later day, you are the head of my family and I need you to pay attention now." Then she would not let any men in the room after the surgery until her make up was on, which she had prior to surgery placed on the hospital tray and labelled with post it notes such things as "not too much rouge." Her nurse made her up and the men were allowed in - they truly do not make them like that anymore

Anyway - sorry for the long story. I hope it made you laugh. AND my point is my mom has been cancer free since then and do will you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jason

On topic - I got my calendar in January.

seeknpeace 02-26-2004 07:30 PM

What a true gem your mother is. And, southern to boot.

I think that she can bring some wisdom to the table with her age. I am only 52 and losing both of my breasts was devastating for me. I did opt to have my reconstruct done with my own tissue....no implants and it is pretty amazing. I am not done yet. Any one who wants to see what is now, I let them because I feel that they have to be so curious. Everyone going, What can that look like? It is very inspiring what a really good plastic surgeon can do. And, I got a complete tummy tuck in the process. So, there is a bright side.

Much love to you, sweetheart. Take care of yourself. Get well soon and I just know you'll be able to take in the NC show and that you'll enjoy yourself  Brian, same thing goes for you and Debbie as well.

I can't believe some of you have still not recieved your calendars. Makes me think that this time around won't be much different...we shall see.

Get Well

Hang in Seek… This Club crap shouldn’t even be on your radar right now. You need all your energy directed inward right now. My thoughts and prayers are with you. You’re a fighter… I have no doubt you will win this one too.

My Best
Jim
