Can't wait to hear the early "Planets". Do you really think it is the piano demo referred to as "No Light"? Or do you think it is another demo/outtake entirely?

I was pretty surprised by that too, chili.
No "I'm So Afraid" or "Rhiannon" that continued beyond where the album versions faded? Or "World Turning?"

If those are out there, surely a lack of space shouldn't have prevented them from being included, when the remastered 'Fleetwood Mac' will probably have a running time of only about 55 minutes.

But I'm hoping the lack of live versions on these discs means that 'Fleetwood Mac Live' will also get the remastered treatment, with a healthy dose of extra live cuts from that era.
As great as it is, it's sorely lacking "The Chain," "Angel," "What Makes You Think You're The One," and not just a few others.

I actually have a feeling that it might be an outtake version that Fleetwood Mac worked on, rather than the "Stevie alone at the piano" version we've all heard... but I have no reason to believe that, other than speculation.

In other words, I wouldn't get my hopes up too high. :)

It would seem kinda weird to put out a piano only demo - so I am hoping for a version that has some extra instrumentation and vocals (*keeps fingers crossed*).

In my excitement, I didn't even notice Stevie's "Think About It" on the 'Rumours' bonus disc... that should make Christy VERY happy! :)
Ecstatic.

I'm very excited about ALL the songs!! Is it March yet?! ;)

Oops... did I remember wrong?
I thought you were a big fan of the Mac version, but just didn't like Stevie's solo version. *blushes*

wondergirl9847 01-28-2004 08:26 PM

LOL

Nah, I just don't particularly care for any version of the song. I wish The Dealer had taken it's place on Belladonna. I'm bitter about that. It's my fave demo. :)

BUTTER COOKIE ????

I am holding out for Fig Newton, or if I am really lucky, Coconut Macaroon....

Johnny Stew 01-28-2004 08:44 PM

Well, Sparky... rumour has it that the eventual remastering of 'Say You Will,' will include an abandoned Lindsey ditty, titled "Wheat Thins (Keep Me Here)." :D

I'm excited! As a relatively new fan (only a few years) I have not heard most of the demos and outtakes.

However, I wish a new album would come out to go along with the new tour this summer. They could prob. take all the rejects from SYW (when they had to cut it down to one cd), do a couple of old songs that were written years ago (How about Christian, Stevie?), and throw in some new material that I am sure they have been working on this tour and viola- a new Mac album!

Also, while they are doing all these remasters, why didn't they do Buckingham Nicks, also?

GardenStateGirlie 01-28-2004 09:29 PM

WOOOOT!

I am SUPER STOKED for this!!!!! I truly do hope POTU is a version we've not yet heard. Regardless, I'm happy with what we're getting  Fleetwood Mac...ya done good

lol! So true. Oh well, I'll take what I can get.

littlelies7 01-28-2004 09:32 PM

I'm excited! Even though the tracks aren't what we all expected, but, it's still all good!
