Amazing lindsey. He really proves that when he is totally in charge he comes up with a very very surprising and non-commercial setlist that must have blown your mind!!!

Btw, It's not like I don't have enough Fleetwood Mac related 2003 stuff on video/cd as it is now (Sarcastically speakin' of course)

Sounds like an amazing show, Hayley! Thanks for posting a set list!! I never thought I'd see him do Red Rover and Murrow live.... very cool :)

Another great part of the taping was when someone requested Frozen Love. Stevie and Lindsey both laughed and smiled then Stevie sang the first 2 lines of the song. Lindsey smiled at her and she said that all she remembered was those 2 lines.

Lindsey then went on to say how great and tight the 2 part harmonies were on the B/N album.

That was one of the many highlights.

Not to be a spoil-sport here, but does anyone know how long this show usually is? I'm concerned that if LB did 15 songs, averaging 5 minutes per song, that comes out to 75 minutes. I hope they don't whittle down the final version that ends up on TV to 60 minutes. If they do that and they're smart, then PBS should sell the full 75-or so-minute version. On DVD. Yeah, that's the ticket....

It's a 60 minute show... Lindsey said at the beginning that he'd heard previous performers on Soundstage had played thirty songs or more, but that he was going to tailor it more to being an hour-long show, he'd just play everything twice or more. I'm sure a lot will end up on the cutting room floor, most likely BLTH and Save Me a Place- those were impromptu, and for us by request.

I was the one who screamed Frozen Love, and I was glad I did and that she did that...! The roar from everyone when she started to sing those lines was monumental.

Someone else asked if it was acoustic- it wasn't acoustic at all. He had the band behind him, and he only played the standard stuff (Big Love, Go Insane, etc) by himself. He played I Am Waiting by himself, but played it on electric guitar.

Also, GYOW was not acoustic- I saw someone post that- it was live and it ROCKED- his solo on it was amazing- both times. After the first performance of it, he joked that he didn't know if he could handle doing it again- but he did, and it was even better.

In regards to Murrow live- it's hard to describe. It wasn't necessarily as hard-edged as it is on the album, but it wasn't empty in any way either... it was interesting how he sang the chorus, and the guitar solo at the end was awesome. The first time, it started to sound a lot like I'm So Afraid at the end, and the second time, it sounded like he was playing the I'm So Afraid solo note by note for awhile. It rocked.

Frozen Love
 

That's funny Hayley. I didn't hear anyone else yell Frozen Love with me. The lady next to me from Maryland (I think her name was Ruth) and I were egging each other on the whole show to yell it. Then finally I just got the guts and yelled it during one of the quiet moments when Stevie was on stage with him. Anyway, I'm so glad Stevie sang those first 2 lines. How cool!

Actually, that's funny... I remember yelling it and then hearing someone else yell it right after- that must've been you. I joked with the person next to me about how funny it was that someone else got the nerve to yell it at the exact same time I did!

I think when she started to sing it, I was screaming so damn loudly that I missed half of it anyhow ;-)

Thanks for letting us know how things went. I'm looking forward to seeing the concert on TV. Of course, it's not going to compare to seeing it in person.
