Let's face it, R.S. only picked guitarists that are either current, cutting-edge, provocative, "sexy" or a mixture of all four. Even though Lindsey is one of the best guitarists of all time he doesn't fit the above criteria. He's not "cool" enough for stupid Rolling Stone. Jack White is a very talented guitarist but he hasn't really been around long enough to be considered the best of all time. He hasn't even really showed all he can do in the few years he's been around in the mainstream. Anyway, concerning some of the other choices it's obvious that R.S. prefers style over substance, but why should we be outraged by this? I'd expect it from that rag.

And by the way, I think Lindsey is very cool, but the youth-oriented pop culture that we live in believes differently.

the real travesty is that Angus Young made the list over Lindsey Buckingham. WTF!?!?!? I love AC/DC but this is ridiculous! Everyone knows that Angus's guitar playing is a one-trick poney!

When I see Jerry Garcia and Kurt Cobain on this list, it makes me laugh as they are not that crafty with their playing. I always thought more of Joni Mitchell as a songwriter and not a guitarist.
