However, Paul McCartney and John Lennon had two very different styles of writing yet look at all the songs they wrote together...They would each have their own verses that coexisted in the same song.
You know, I really hadn't thought of it that way, Joe, but you're absolutely right.

Lennon always brought a dash of sarcasm to McCartney's more optimistic musings on love and life, and McCartney added a glimmer of hope to Lennon's droll and biting visions.

Lindsey & Stevie might be able to enhance each other's songs in much the same way, with a little work and determination.

I also think that it's a good idea for them to like get together and make those songs...I think that it would be awesome if there was another BN album! I still haven't heard the first one...LOL! Yeah, but strictly speaking they almost never actually wrote together, besides some of the early songs. Then the separation was almost obvious as there are 100% "McCartney" and 100% "Lennon" songs, and some others where Lennon would help McCartney in one or two lines, or vice-versa, or in cases like "A Day In The Life" or "I've Got A Feeling"; when they would mix two totally different songs (or three, even) into one.

I think Lindsey and Stevie could not share credits like that... but I do think that Stevie could put lyrics to a Lindsey tune, or vice-versa, and that way we could have a Nicks/Buckingham song. Other than that, I don't think that's going to happen...
