Hi,

I was wondering so far, what is the largest audience of the SYW tour?

I ask because the arena i will see them at in Manchester is the largest indoor in Europe, holding 21,000 at max... The FM concert will be a full arena 'rumour' has it! sorry for that dreadful pun.

I really cant wait til i go...im dying here to see them for the first time!! im in the first 20 rows 2!! hehe :p

I still say Stevie was energetic at my show, in Atlanta. Very energetic, actually. During Stand Back she twirled so fast I thought she was going to fly off the stage.

She seemed a lot more energized during the second leg. Was that when your show was?

She's always a nonkinetic dud at the shows I see: last year in Anaheim; in Santa Barbara, Irvine & L.A. in 2001; in Anaheim in 2000; in Irvine & L.A. in 1998; in Mountain View & L.A. in 1997, etc. At all these shows, she just planted herself at her mic, as still as a Georgia oak.

What do I have to do to see her twirl so fast that she almost flies off the stage?

She is rather lethargic these days, but at least she's better than during the TISL tour, dude. Sometimes I wait patiently for the roadies to come out with an intravenous tube for the gal.

About the TISL tour, I heard she had robotic motions. Is this true?

The SYW show I went to was on this first leg, maybe it just seemed like she was really energetic and wild since it was my first FM concert-ever. I was just so excited!

Well, she's had robotic motions on every tour since '89. It seem slike she does one movement during the first show and it sticks throughout the entire tour, making people think that she's just going through the motions.

Well, even Lindsey's "manic and spontaneous" actions throughout the tour, were repeated from one show to the next.
From every review I read, it sounded as if he was doing the same routines every night:
"He humped his guitar during the opening of 'Stand Back.'"
"He let me play his guitar."
"He tusked John, then chased Stevie around the stage."

Not saying there's anything wrong with that, but I think they both pretty much "go through the motions" from one night to the next, when it comes to stage antics these days... although I will definitely grant you that Lindsey's are more energetic, and more power to him for that.

Of course, he's also not dealing with menopause, a bad hip, a hole in his sinuses, and a recurring ankle injury... so I'm sure that makes a big difference too. :)

Then maybe it's time for La Nicks to retire from the road. ;)

Serioulsy, I don't see how that has to do with being on the road. No one tours to promote their record anymore, they do it for the cash.

How else will Lindsey get people to attend his concerts in a venue that supports his lifestyle?

This is the last hurrah for Mac shows as far as I'm concerned, so it wouldn't matter to me. Anyways, I'd rather see Stevie go away from the stage gracefully instead of retiring once her performances stunk, wouldn't you?

I do not mind these performances, esp. on the second leg. But, yes, I do not see them doing a world tour again as that could not happen until at least 2007. So, I say I need to get my fix while I can!!! :cool:
