I remember in Ken Caillat's Q&A he said they were trying to track down the original multitracks so he could do the 5.1 DVD-A, like he did with Rumours and has also done with Tusk apparently.

During the Dance tour, BOTH Lindsey AND Stevie had said in interviews that (paraphrasing) "the Buckingham Nicks album will be out on CD very soon". "Soon" being relative, obviously :laugh:

I am also in the "believe it when I see it" crowd on the release of BN on CD but it's not uncommon for those British retailers to advertise something that "hasn't come out yet but they know will" as they feel it's a good idea getting pre orders in effect. "I" wouldn't do that if I was a retailer as I wouldn't want to deal with the calls: "I sent you the money and I don't have the CD yet, where is it? (bla bla bla) but whatever, they obviously don't mind dealing with that stuff so to each their own I guess.

Look at it this way, when I had asked David McLees about the Mac remasters, he said that "the band still had to agree on the bonus tracks" (this was what, 5 or 6 months ago? ...so they obviously have agreed on those by now but heck if I know how to find out what they are :) ). So, they were obviously involved with the FM Rhino remasters still to come but have they ever said this in interviews? Not that I know of. Just because they don't say it doesn't mean it won't happen.

I agree that there is more to point towards the "not coming out" side of this but at least there's some hope. For once, I'm trying to be positive (though I am a "believe it when I see it" person as well). :)

Just on the basis of the Rhino reissues of the Elvis Costello, Yes, & The Who catalogue, I think the Fleetwood Mac ones will be pretty special. ;)

Don't forget about the Blondie reissues from Rhino; those were some of the best I've ever seen! :D

The Yes re-releases are pretty cool.

The prices are decent (usually 14.99) and the bonus stuff is nice, and cool enough to make me want to upgrade my ****ty earlier pressings of the discs. Their first album, which basically sounded like dog**** before, is crisp and clear and unusually alive for the first Yes album. :)

And the bonus stuff isn't so excessive that they need to put it on a 2nd disc, like the recently reissued version of Bowie's "Aladdin Sane" which costs 27.99. :eek: I'll pass on that one.

Some had it right in that I was merely differentiating from the earlier incarnations of Fleetwood Mac, of which there are a few. I didn't realise at the time that my usage would create or spark rumours. Again, all apologies.

But you can bet, if Lindsay and Stevie elect to release this B/N title, I'll be there to tell you about it.

I got my Bowie reissues (Ziggy and Aladdin Sane) at Target for fiftenn bucks each, try looking there. They truly are fabulous.

Have you heard his last album Heathen? One of his VERY best; the songs are AMAAAAAAAAZING!!!
