Well if "age ain't nuttin' but a number" then that applies to Stevie too.

Some are much to quick to bash her and call her old.

Don't ever write Stevie off. Just when you think she has nothing left, she does.

I know Lindsey loves his wife. That doesn't mean he views Stevie as some dried up old crone just because she's 55.

I certainly hope he's not that shallow. I know he sees the beauty there and appreciates it. And I'm not talking about sex at all.

If she were to find a younger man, people would hassle her about that, too. I guess she just can't win.

YOU GO STEVIE!!!!

I hope Stevie DOES find a man!! Young, her age or older, doesn't matter....but honestly, I don't think she WANTS a man. JMO.

I don't think she does either. She's happy to be independent and to be doing her own thing. But at the end of the day (the end of the night, haha), end of the tour, whatever...it's got to be pretty lonely sometimes to be Stevie. I hope she is happy, whatever her choice.

Thank you, Sharon!

I love Stevie and feel really badly for her...this just dawned on me when I read Sharon's comment about "following the rules." Poor thing, she has to go out there on stage every night and sing to her ex and do the "act" and then he goes home to a wife and babies. She's a strong woman, but it really must rip her heart right out. It would do that to me...

:(

Wow. Where did you see the interview with Sharon? I'd love to see what she had to say about the tour etc.

WednesdaysChild 07-21-2003 08:13 PM

Oh no! Not Sharon Celani! Our Sharon/Sulamith made a comment earlier in this post that I was commenting on. Sorry to confuse you! :)

LMAO :laugh: Oh, and I suppose people can frequently raise the topic of Stevie's weight but when we mention THEM it's like, so *taboo* I love the music, but it's hard to deny that this doesn't go with it. It's not like any of us have ever suggested they go offstage a nail each other...krikey...where's my cotton ball? Stand back!
