DOH!!! Of course, how could I forget Destiny Rules? And yes, I do love that song. Thanks Marissa  xx Meredith |
Jake- World Turning would be awfully short without the drum solo wouldn't it? Perhaps it could be interesting though...
Oh! Before, some other posts mentioned Don't Let Me Down Again, which I hadn't even thought of until I read those posts. I love that song, and i'd love to see it in the set list. As for it in the set list I made up, I thought that maybe DLMDA could be rotated with #14 I Don't Want To Know. |

Strand, I agree that Stevie's parts on Christine's songs should be minimal. For one thing, there are enough Lindsey & Stevie songs to do, so they don't need to use many Christine songs at the expense of the others, particularly when they're not including songs by Green or Welch. For another, Gerald & I chatted after the Dallas show about how I like Stevie on World Turning - it had more bite than with Christine's sweet voice, as Stevie's voice works on this kind of gritty number - but I didn't care for Stevie as much on Don't Stop, which is too tame and sunny a song. I wish they'd drop that one. - Jake |
Oh, interesting stuff here. I aready dropped don't stop in my list, darklinensuit, so I agree!
I'd like to opt for Without a leg to stand on, too. That one fits in the overal darker, maybe more cynical atmosphere of this FM. :wavey: gerald |

But actually neither of them would sound as good as Christine. Man I picked a bad time to get into this band. The real setlists I've seen for this tour just don't excite me in the least. :( |
Oh no, neither of them are Christine, for sure, and I don't think they HAVE TO perform one of her songs at all! It's all up to them I suppose. I'm just stating that, given the case, I think that those songs would sound better with Lindsey taking the lead vocal rather than with Stevie singing, but then again that's just my opinion.
