Bought with blood money

The worst thing that happened is that an insanely wealthy guitarist still got paid without having to go on tour. He still has a lovely wife and three lovely children, still lives a life of luxury, is still making music, is still a legend... Neil Finn had a very successful career before he ever met anyone named Fleetwood, McVie, or Nicks. As HomerDavid said, he’s worth about $30 million, which is way beyond anything he made in Fleetwood Mac. It’s not like DDIO wasn’t the second highest charting single in the setlist last tour. And, it’s not like his son and grandchild didn’t already live in LA. Blood money? Talk about losing perspective. |

$he won the fame and riches game. But he won the LIFE game(with plenty of riches, just not being a household name). $he hates him for attaining what $he never could. A happy family. I mean, HOW DARE HE? |

There will always be those fans who want to believe the band and specifically $tevie did nothing wrong, so they can go to bed at night thinking their Queen is still the most warm and considerate of all. Right…. Like Homer said, he won at life, and no matter how many times she tries to hurt him, she can't change that. |

the problem is, that many people who don't understand it insist on their "common sense" interpretation and knowing better. |

My step-dad had a heart attack long before he ever met my mother. About 3.5 years into their marriage, his only son was killed in a car accident. He was devastated but didn’t have a heart attack. I can’t imagine getting fired from a rock band was anywhere near as traumatic. So forgive me for still being highly skeptical. Lindsey is genetically predisposed to heart disease and, go figure, ended up having a heart attack. If it had anything to do with getting fired, he should sue...HIS THERAPIST. Life is full of trauma and disappointment. If he is too ill equipped to handle getting fired from a band that’s been more inactive than not over the past 22 years, then his therapist has done a lousy job. Lindsey is still insanely wealthy, still has a beautiful family, is still able to make music, and was still able to tour. Forgive me for feeling less than sorry for him. |

Imagine you already have a history of heart problems, and then you get a phone call letting you know that your ex girlfriend has had you fired. Then you go try to find out what's really happening only to find out the people you've known, loved, and worked with for 43 years have ghosted you. You even think you could fly to Hawaii and work things out only to be told by the promoter that you are not welcome. Oh, and you were the musical director of the institution that has become as big as any band out there. Yea, I can't see why anyone here would speculate that it did anything to his heart or condition. |
