Linds sounds good. Nice to know that he recovered so well from his heart attack and vocal cord damage. Wishing him well on this tour.

Setlist is a nice representation of his work. I guess everyone would like to have one of their other favorites in there. I'm just grateful he's making new music and out there for us, STILL.

Go Lindsey. See you soon!

Did Lindsey write “Time”? It has those “Down on Rodeo” Kingston Trio atmospherics. The set list is hefty — something there for everyone, I would imagine. Thanks for sharing, Elle.

No, he didn’t write Time - I don’t remember who did but I remember reading that it’s a cover. Oh, there you go, lbfan beat me to it!

To clarify: it’s not that I’m disappointed he isn’t doing Countdown per se, but disappointed because he said he would do it in the next tour. I forgive him, though, as always I’m sure he has a well-thought out set list.

Interesting: nothing from Gift of Screws

I would have thought Treason would become a new mainstay.

right... Treason has been his mainstay. I would have loved GOS or Underground, but frankly i'm happy he didn't drag TPT back out.

Lindsey Buckingham 5
Seeds We Sow 2
Under the Skin 2
Out of the Cradle 2
Go Insane 1
Law and Order 1
FM 1
Rumours 3
Tusk 1
Tango 1
BuckVie 1

I get the symbolism of Not Too Late and starting with it, while ending with Time, but he should have replaced NTL with Rock Away Blind. how amazing would that opening be?

i would have also loved electric Go Insane back (but would rather not have slow Go Insane), and of course, Trouble show go away once and forever. same with NGBA. it had a purpose on 2018 tour, but it doesn't anymore, and it's been slow and dirgey for multiple tours now. Holiday Road is a crowd pleaser and he could have brought it back.

i miss Slow Dancing, but i'm very very happy about I Must Go and Doing What I can being in the setlist. i'm also ecstatic that Love Is Here To Stay is back, perhaps the most gorgeous love song he ever wrote. since this is his "divorce album" and he made it clear in that recent interview that he does not want a divorce, i like the symbolism of bringing back this love song to his wife.

and the surprise that we got immediately as a first song of the soundcheck - In Our Own Time is back! he dropped it at the last few shows of the 2018 tour, so i'm ecstatic that it's back and it sounds amazing.

also, i thought it was appropriate that Lindsey took Second Hand News back, to wash off it the sleaze of Fakewood.

Does any one know if he took songs out of the set in LA last night?

Thank you. I don't go to that site because I don't trust it. They have Lindsey and Stevie setlists for Republican Conference concerts. I never heard of them playing those shows!

He continues to sound amazing (based upon the videos I've seen from LA--I wasn't there)
Does anyone know if his family was there?

Lindsey looks content and happy. Family, friends, a successful career and being the artist that HE wants to be. Good for him.

He really does look content. I think he's made peace with the old goat getting him fired. It'll eat you up if you don't let it go. Good for him.

And probably part of that process was realizing that he's finally goat free. That's got to be worth a few million.
