When it's about saving "SMAP," you seem to be a lot more adamant. ;) Quote:
But anytime that song isn't protected, I'm going to vote against. (For the record, I'm VERY bummed to lose "Not That Funny," and even more bummed to lose "That's All For Everyone." The latter being one of Lindsey's two best songs on the album, IMO. :( ) |
I vote off Save Me A Place.

Maybe the next album can have different threads for each round? Have I even voted in this round? What round are we IN?! |
OK Much needed info....
Immunity is cancelled for this round. Walk A Thin Line and Save Me A Place are up for votes again. So if you want to change you vote please do so between now and 10 o-clock (CNT) I am extending the voting for a couple fo hours.
Ok. If you are going to change immunity PLEASE DO IT BEFORE NOBODY HAS VOTED FOR THAT SONG! There were 4 votes for SMAP so I can not allow the immunity to be changed. Sorry.. AGAIN IF YOU ARE GOING TO CHANGE YOUR VOTE PLEASE TELL THE SONG YOU PREVIOUSLY VOTED FOR AND THE NEW VOTE, Thanks |
You made the right decision, Jacob. I prefer SMAP to Walk a Thin Line, BUT changing the immunity because you've realized too late that you made a tactical error is completely BOGUS. It would start a slippery slope that would suck the fun out this game, and give WAY too much power to the immunity-giver. The confusion in this round was caused by Homer McVie and perpetuated by a few others, but their frantic attempt to rewrite history shouldn't invalidate everyone else's votes. Again, I am saying this as someone who thinks SMAP is a beautiful song and superior to WATL.
Addressing another topic: I don't think it's underhanded to ask someone to vote a certain way. They can choose not to do so. I do think it's lame to change your vote but I've already voiced my disappointment about that. So, I'm not worrying about it anymore. I'm just going to vote for The Ledge because it's too stressful otherwise. :) |

SAVE ME A PLACE
and can we please .... Get a new post for each new round?????????????????????? |

I thought he should especially do one now, because there was a controversy and everyone was waiting for him to rule, and with a new thread they would know he had...see already people have put posts up after his. It's just more convenient and logical, to me. Like, every day the new thread starts with "ok, this has been voted out, and such and such are left" very first thing, very first page! easy peasy! And the thread would each day be named, "Tusk surivor, round blah" simple pimple! :) AMber |

This round must be disqualified. It's the only fair thing to do!! |

I assure you, however, that if this round is counted after all this confusion and after all out European friends have gone to bed, I will cry FOUL like there's no tomorrow. |
I can't believe how messy this game is getting. This round is total chaos. If it was up to me, I would make this whole round null and void. But in case it isn't, I vote for getting rid of Beautiful Child.
|
I wish we could just abolish the whole immunity thing. It just makes for a lot of controversy and arguing.

This is crazy!! Wheeeew. Is this board always like this?
Man, oh man. Anyway, my vote goes to Beautiful Child. You're not a child anymore. |

And welcome to the board, I never got to officially say that. :wavey: |

Personally, I still don't understand what the confusion is/was about. HomerMcVie answered the question and cited "Walk A Thin Line" as the song to which he wished to grant immunity. Jacob told him his answer was correct, and validated "WATL" as the Immunity Song. That Homer changed his mind afterwards, is of no consequence. His first choice was given immunity by Jacob, fair and square. :) I look at it this way... once Jacob deems which song has immunity, there should be no "call-backs." That rule always worked when I was 12, and it somehow seems fitting now. ;) |
In case I haven't voted in this round yet...
WALK A THIN LINE, since it's not immune anymore. |
Beautiful Child
|
You are so beautiful child that I need you to fall away!
bye bye! for those who speak english that was me voting off BChild. |
My vote is for Save Me A Place . I love the song, but there are others that I love more.
|
It's been brought to my attention that Walk a Thin Line may have immunity...? (I can't even follow this anymore, lol) so if that is the case my vote is Beautiful Child. Not changing my vote, just letting you know.
|
I vote to can BEAUTIFUL CHILD.
But I do so under protest! This round should be invalidated!! And I am going to continue to insist on it. |

why is it whenever SMAP is on the chopping block a few people ask for the round to be re done or they say there's alot of confusion. Maybe there WAS some confusuin but heh it's cleared up, lets move on.

But thanks for the ASSumption. Wrong. |

All I know is if this round is counted, the integrity of this whole game is lost. It's a shame, because right up to now it's been a vibrant, fun competition. |

this round is absolutely confusing, but it's not THAT much more confising then other rounds. I'd say when Not That Funny and Brown Eyes were voted out there was alot of confusion too but we only ask for a re do of a round when SMAP is on the chopping block. You Yourself said either SMAP should have immunity or this round should be invalidated. So if Jake had said SMAP is immune this round would count in your mind but if it isn't immune the round shouldn't count. Now that's straight from you with you pro-SMAP bias
