I just finished listening to the all the previews of the tracks and for now the only one that left me baffled was Dreams live in Wembley...just WTF?

I love the alternate "Brown Eyes", it's a totally new song.
That "Never Forget" version sounds even better with the "cold" intro instead of the fade-in.

Was just looking at the top rock albums on Itunes- Tusk Deluxe is #24. Tusk itself is #117. I didn't even see Rumours on the list. First time I've ever seen Tusk above Rumours.

Question about purchasing Tusk reissue
 

Does anyone know of any retailers where you can order the physical, deluxe version of the Tusk reissue, that will also allow you to download a digital version of the songs without having to pay for the digital-only version? Warner Brothers did this with 24 Karat Gold...if you bought the physical copy, you could download all the songs the day it was released.

I ask because I would like to physical copy for the LPs, the art, and the discs to listen to in my car (yes, still old school). However, my laptop is newer and does not have a disc drive, leaving me no way to put the songs on my computer or iPhone...and I certainly don't want to pay for both the deluxe version and the digital version.

Thanks Sorcerer, so far 3 hours of bliss listening to Tusk de LUXE... i especially loved i think it was the 3rd last Tusk outtake, sounds a lot like Jim Morrison and The Doors influence :D

I purchased the physical copy at Amazon, and all the songs are available to listen to and download from my Amazon account today.
Someone mentioned in another thread that they live in the US but ordered from Amazon UK and don't have access to the digital copy, so you would need to make sure you ordered through Amazon US. It should say "includes free MP3 version of this album"

Possibly....I can't actually make out what she is saying at the end. It could be lyrics from Cecilia, but I don't know them well enough of the top of my head. Maybe someone else can confirm this, or I'll maybe I'll work out what she's saying after a few more listens.

Yes that's exactly what she's saying at the end - she sings it twice. It sounds like she sings "white birds" and "flown so very far". Thanks for that, much easier to hear when you can see the words.

I am in love with the alternate version of Brown Eyes. I think I like this version even better. I like that it has a bluesy sound to it. So freaking good!

It seems that Stevie during the 1980 leg of the Tusk Tour always sang the ending of Sisters Of The Moon with these lines from Cecelia, sometimes with small variations.
From the Yokohama bootleg where I can barely distinguish her saying "where are the wild/white birds flown?

no, they've just left her
therein"
to the final date at the Hollywood Bowl.

I just checked US Amazon and it doesn't say "free mp3 version" like the UK site, so I'm not sure you would get the digital copy as well. It's seems a bit strange if the sites are offering different things :shrug:. Maybe you could check with Amazon before buying it.

I would have loved for a piano version of "Angel" as per the Tusk documentary to have been included, if only an excerpt. A version or two of "Fireflies" would also have been a treasure.
