However, this is a different type of music -- she's crossing over genres (partly because of who she works with as well) and gaining pop fans, rap fans, rock fans, etc. -- people that normally wouldn't buy a No Doubt album.

yeah. She is. I'm not really sure what your point is with her crossover. Not being rude, I just really don't know your point. I think it's great she's crossing genres so much, makes it interesting.
Uh, I'm sorry she feels pressure to be thin, but I don't think her success really hinges on that factor. It would be different if she was HUGE, maybe, but if she was at her old weight - eh, not that much difference. She may feel pressure to stay in the spotlight, which is understandable. but it's in her head, about the weight loss. Or, rather, up her nose? Anyways. I don't think any of that makes her less talented or awesome.

If you go back, I never said I didn't like her. What i'm trying to say is I think that as a solo artist RIGHT NOW at this very moment, she's more popular. That's the point I've been adressing since five posts ago.

I guess she's a bit more popular now, but I thought you were trying to relate it to her weight, because of this "and it wasn't until she started to look like a skin-flint that the media became obsessed with her. " (that's you talking)
Which is what I disagree with. :wavey:
so, really, that's it. :xoxo:

TURN it OFF

I HATE the 4-non blondes band ----song....I can't even think of the name of it (thank God), but the lead singer is whiny and very annoying!

It's like 20 years old and I keep hearing it on the radio-
Can't stand it-Never could!!
