Congratulations. I was thinking of you last night because the current issue of Psych Today has a big article on Buddhist meditation and how good it is for your well-being. It changes people's brains so they have more cortex and can be as effective as antidepressants. It also explains how Buddhists see emotions as separate entities from themselves and thus can let them pass. Also, it mentioned how they view happiness as our right and have a lot of teachings regarding being happy. It was a great article.

Cool. And thanks. :D

Did I tell you guys that I did decide to get tix to see the Dalai Lama speak here next week? Tuesday at 3pm.

One of the docs I work with is going to an exclusive discussion with him Monday evening (I think it's limited to 200 people.) She's trying to decide on a question to ask. All I could come up with was "What's Richard Gere like? Is he that dreamy in person?" :p JK
What did she do to get to do that? I feel compelled to point out that I neither practice, nor know a whole lot about, Tibetan Buddhism, so the Dalai Lama stuff is mostly lost on me.

Okay, very faint soap residue is acceptable. Very faint.

Fine line between B.O. and sweat. I consider B.O. like day old stale sweat.
Which I still prefer to any cologne.
But that fresh from the gym sweat ?
Mmm...come to Sparky.

um I think there is a difference between the SMELL of soap and the RESIDUE of soap. most people would agree, residue is nasty because the taste of soap is bitter, and there is a slick feel and a tendency for fuzzy buildup from clothes to accumulate). the smell (or fragrance--and its not just for girls silly) is OK.

by the way, B.O. is SOUR sweat whereas just plain sweat smells salty-ish or pheromone-ish.

Body odor is gross... just to be clear, it's not odor that turns me on, it's that natural, un-perfumed scent of a man that revs my motor.
