They dropped another song ~DESTINY RULES!
On a happy note ~ Stevie was extremely energetic and happy. She joked, she twirled, she got ugly during GDW (love that) and the best Rhiannon I've seen in a long, long time.
A much better show than Columbus.
And I had the best time sharing it all with Janine, Eva, Patricia, Josh and our 2 moms!

Thanks for the update!
My lordy, how many new songs does that leave?
Is Stevie down to just 2 now?

NO!! They dropped Destiny Rules too?? That song was great during the concert...seems like they are dropping the new songs left and right, and it seems they are Stevie's. I wonder what is up? I sure hope that they are rehearsing more new Stevie songs to replace the ones they are pulling.
What song did they sing instead of Destiny Rules?
BTW, thanks for the update :)

Please tell me that there will still be songs to hear when I go to the Philly Show next week.
Ladies and Gentleman, Fans of all ages, we bring you the incredible...shrinking...set list!
Actually, I'm guessing that Stevie figured that with the hip and the menopause, something has to give. She can dance and sing with passion for a shorter set, OR she can sing longer but conservatively.
I guess I'd choose the shorter/more energetic set, but for $125 a pop, I hate having to compromise.

It's not that I don't want to cut the old girl some slack, but it's not like she's doing a whole show on her own.
If Tina and Cher can be gyrating on stage for 2+ hours, I expect a little more of Stevie than what she's been left to do on this tour.

I know what you're saying, but I don't think Stevie has ever had their gusto.
Her solo concerts are always short.
And now with no Christine, Stevie probably can't be ducking off the stage for all those touch-ups like she used to on other FM tours.
Not saying I like this, just trying to figure out the enigma that is Stevie the performer.

I knew knew knew that I should have flown my ass to the first show.
This is so typical.
If "Beautiful Child" is dropped before Sacramento, I will go out and buy 20 yards of black chiffon and symbolically smother myself to death with it at the concert.

I forgot to mention that we saw Chris Nicks walking around, checking T-shirt booths. That was cool.
They did not replace DR with anything. But don't worry NO chance of loosing Beautiful Child. The audience goes nuts for that one. And rightly so!
Stevie actually said "This is our 4th show and we are really getting it together now." And she was right. The show was tight and high energy.
Several technical difficulties with Lindsey's guitar. At one point, while we were waiting for it to be fixed Stevie said, "This is one of those times I wish I was good at telling jokes. But I'm not." Priceless!

Geez, I feel the same way. I'm going to the Philly show, too. They are eliminating the new songs one by one. Is this going to be The Dance all over again?

is it true the place was only 3/4 full?
that's what the plain dealer reviewer said

I like to think that it was more than 3/4 full, but yeah there were seats available.
There were a few new t-shirts added since Columbus. There is a white one with a penguin (it was very cool) and one like the album cover with them lying down.
Don't worry, they still played;
What's the World Coming To
PeaceKeeper
Say You Will
Say Goodbye
Goodbye Baby
Come
But they're nuts for not rehearsing Thrown Down and releasing that as the next single.

Could someone who was at the Cleveland show please post a setlist in order? Since songs are being dropped again I'd love to see just what is left and what order they're being played.
Thanks so much! :)

I was thinking about this, and really, Lindsey and Stevie have the same amount of "spotlight" songs now.
Stevie's 10: Dreams, Say You Will, Rhiannon, Gypsy, Landslide, Beautiful Child, Gold Dust Woman, Silver Springs, Stand Back, and Goodbye Baby.
Lindsey's 10: Eyes Of The World, Never Going Back Again, Second Hand News, Come, Big Love, Say Goodbye, What's The World Coming To, I'm So Afraid, Tusk, and Go Your Own Way.
Then they pretty much "duet" on The Chain, Peacekeeper, World Turning, and Don't Stop.
It's seriously disappointing that they would drop Destiny Rules and Running Through The Garden though.
If it were up to me (or probably any of us, for that matter), I'd rather see them keep either of those two songs over Stand Back (as much as I love it, I still think solo songs should be left for solo tours). But then most every person who's been to one of the shows so far, has mentioned how excited and happy the audiences are when the band plays Stand Back... so i guess there's no hope of this one ever being dropped.
Either way, I guess it doesn't really matter in the long-run, and if I were getting to go to one of the shows, I'm sure I'd be just so excited to see them, I'd be content with anything they chose to play. :)

I agree on the Stand Back thing, Stew...
I hope I wont be regretting NOT going to opening night... if they keep dropping... it would have been worth the flight.

My parents saw the Cleveland show and e-mailed to say they thought it was great. They're not exactly rabid fans, so it's good to hear that more casual listeners are enjoying the tour.
Among the more interesting bits they had to share:
"It was a lot like the concert of a few years ago, minus Christine which I don't think was a huge deal. The sound system was really messed up for the first four songs or so, but they got it straightened out and it all sounded great.... We thought Stevie's voice sounded different - maybe not quite as raspy."
