I like floor seats for these reasons....
*I don't have to hear the people behind me bitching because i'm standing up and dancing...hellooooo...it's a concert...pit people don't complain...they're in the pit for a reason
*The band is super close...it's a great experience to be that close...especially to your favorite band ever
*You feel like you're right there with them...and you're on their level
*you get a direct view of the band...not from the side but straight on

I like the pit. lol

I generally never get floor tickets unless they are within the first 10 or so rows. Otherwise, I have found the seats on the risers by the stage are better because of the elevation. There is, however, nothing like a floor seat that is close during a rocking concert!!!!!

In my experience there is nothing like the first five rows. Having been front and center...man, I guess six or seven times for Mac or Stevie...it is the ultimate. But, not always possible.
I have been disappointed being beyond the 10th row. But, I have 11th row for Sacramento, so we will see how that goes. All can be lost getting stuck behind a couple of giants. Next best is definitely the first two sections on the sides, 5-10 rows up. Close enough, but seeing over the heads.
Gotta admit it though, I am a pit dog all the way.

Gotta agree. First 5 rows rock.... I would do it everytime if my credit card didn't come back and kick me in the ass!
