though I can't imagine anything spoiling this concert...it was
amazing...new stuff and old....easy to say same old songs...
same old Mick...same old anything...because I'll tell you...you
will just be so...taken over...by their enthusiasm...did they
ever have a good time...and you are glad to be there with them!
I have to tell you that while I'm a rabid Stevie fan...it is Lindsey's
tour to shine...to earn the respect...he was like a meteor...and
everyone was gravitationally pulled toward him...Lindsey is
this tour...when he said come...we came...everyone...we were
awed anew...and he was sweet...and he knew he was oh so
good...he was celebrating with us...like guys can you believe
how great this sounds...how much fun we're having here? I've
never seen him like this...never...standing o's. Stevie early on
wiggled her fingers at anyone who shouted at her during Lindsey's songs...his playing...she let us know where she stood
...firmly in his corner! And what a new and...appropriate vibe
between those two...love...sentiment...letting go of the drama...
but still there for each other...Lindsey speaks about his songs
...written in a less happy time...but sung now as a happy and blessed guy...happy to be alive...happy to be there. I encourage
everyone to back the band up on the new songs...people didn't
sit down...but they need to know we appreciate the guts it took
to get back out there. Hopefully someone else will have the setlist ...this is NOT a concert to miss...you will feel like you've
spent an evening with old friends...who were as glad to see you
as you are them! Beautiful Child....killed me...Lindsey practically
had me on my knees...Stevie an angel... John looked healthy and
happy...Mick the hard worker...Sharon...Morticia...Mindy a cutie...
band...pitch perfect...Lindsey adorable guitar god....damn...what
a party!!!!!!!!!!

when he said come...we came...everyone...
Oh man - what a party!
Sounds fantastic. Let's hope their stamina and enthusiasm lasts for each and every one of your concerts (and who knows, maybe even o/seas ones too).

Wow, your review made me teary eye again. I love how you worded it, as Lindsey was the ringleader tonight..he was the king, and everyone in that arena knew it. We all absorbed their high and enjoyment of the night. This concert was awesome!
Thanks for your lovely words...

Before I hit the sack, I'll just give you a few of the frivolous details we girls like. :)

Stevie had two little fans set up at her feet. Lindsey did not. Hot flashes?!?!?

Lindsey had one set list taped to the floor by his mike and Stevies set list was in way bigger print and it took two sheets of paper. I get a little carried away with my binoculars. But I had front row club seats, so I was right above the stage.

I sat right where they came on and off the stage, and Lindsey and Stevie had their arms locked and were holding both hands. They looked terrified. But it was cute.

They kissed on the lips it appeared after Landslide.
And the crowd sang Landslide so loudly that you could barely hear Stevie.

I don't remember which song, but Lindsey rested his head on one of Stevie's shoulders, then on her back, then her other shoulder and on her chest. Stevie laughed.

Mick introduced the band and Stevie as, Stephanie Nicks.

*And just in my opinion, Stevie looked beautiful but tired and didn't get confident or very energetic until later in the show.

Ohhh! And Beautiful Child was unbelievable! As was Say Goodbye. I think she cried a little. :(

More in the morning....

Glad to hear that you all had a good time, and that the band was in top form. I have been wondering what to expect; I only got to see the Leno performance of Peacekeeper (fell asleep the next night - dang! Moms sure do get tired), and thought they were a little underwhelming, but also knew the sound/mix was crappy.

Now, knowing how great they sounded at your show, I am all the more ready to puke that there are now 1st to 3rd row seats available for the Saturday Pgh show, for the same price I paid for my "where are these located again??" seats. They need to allow people to even-exchange their tix, I tell ya!

Anyone else going to Pgh Saturday?

For what it is worth, I had a similar thing happen to me during the Enchanted tour. I had to be one of the first people to buy tickets and got horrible seats in the second section way in the back. Then, two weeks before the concert, fifth row seats showed up. I called Ticketmaster and let them have it in a nice, but big way. After speaking with about six people all progressively higher up the chain of command, I got them to switch my tickets with me paying the difference and paying a second service charge. So, if it is worth it to you, I say go for it!!!!

...hey you, Silver!!!! I've always loved Lindsey...and you know it!!
It just... uh...paled in my Stevie adoration. :^) Don't MAKE me come out there! Kathy...no smuggling...I'm getting to be such
a grown-up...no boots...no rushing the stage...no crotch zooming
camera work...I was very mature till the yahoos in front of me chose to talk loudly during Beautiful Child...kind a lost it...behaved
badly...husband became angry with me...ANYhoo...Lori...do you know that I was in the 10th row center...stategically located in
front of the mic with the ribbons...AND...we were the only ones in that ROW!!!!! You should check with Dreamseats.com...especially
toward the night of the concert...next time....always a good deal.
Laura...yes that was a big smooch after Silver Springs...and during
Tusk...Lindsey was tusking John...Mick...and ALL over Stevie...DO NOT mess her hair up...but very fun...Lindsey was just damn...I
can't get OVER it!!! I just can't say too many times what a great
time he was having...when the crowd roared...he shrugged...he
pumped his fists...he jigged around...he beamed...he congratulated himself on his brilliance...he congratulated us on
recognizing it...hehe, heheh...normally I'd be...taking up VALUABLE
Stevie-space here Linds...but well...I'm just surprised he wasn't
standing there with bleeding stumps fer fingers at the end. His
guitar flubbed up in the middle of Big Love...he just quit suddenly
and people didn't realize and jumped up standing o's he got it
fixed...laughed...twirled the cord...said let's just start somewhere in the middle...not fazed....and again cool how Stevie kind of
controls her fans...leading us into better behavior...with a nod
of the head...shake of a finger. You know when you explain nicely
that you've WAITED to hear a song for like 20 years..to yahoos...
and they CONTINUE to talk and you end up...well....those who thanked me for writing...thank YOU for listening!

I forgot to mention that on Stevie's mic stand she had two strands of beads, they almost looked like rosaries, but I'm sure they weren't. She had them on the mic stand for Leno too, I think. I wonder what the significance is?

Thank you for the suggestion. I gave it a try, and fought a pretty good (but nice) fight, but got shot down in the end. I'm not good with phone calls (I get SO worked up, even just calling the electric company or something), so by the time I got off the phone I "broke down like a little girl" as our Stevie would say. :distress: They said if I mailed the tickets back to them and got them to the Va Beach office by Saturday (which would mean overnighting them, and only getting back the face value of the tix, but heck, who cares about that), that they would issue me a refund, but not until June 1st. Again, I said, that's fine. I mean, even if I have to wait, I'll be getting my money back, right? But then she talked to her supervisor and the supervisor said that they were about 4 weeks behind on things, and there was no way that they could approve holding on to my money for that long. Huh??? So, basically, it's a no-go. So, reality is, there are 2nd row seats available, but I can't have them, even though I paid exactly the same price for my not-even-floor-or-close-to-the-stage seats. Sigh.

Thanks for the advice anyway, though.

Your "yahoos" in front of you weren't nearly as irritating as the Anna Nicole wannabe behind me who kept drunkenly shouting "We love you John McVie!!" a thousand times.

So when do I get the "real" details? I'M WAAAAAITING.....
