You just had to have your lips pressed to someone's backside for the last 6 months to be able to get a ticket?

How many times do people need to ask whether Trin or Jackie went to the rehearsal? Neither one will come out and say that they were at the rehearsal, but, have alluded to it.

I have a few friends who were at the rehearsals. Jackie was recognized from the pic she posted, at the rehearsal with a
tall man, and Todd was there?...so, why would they be so hesitant to share with you, their GOOD friends, the SUPER fans, all the details of an event that we BEGGED to have a drawing to allow ONE of the SUPER fans attend?

If there's nothing to hide, why keep it a secret all the while teasing their friends over there who trust them so with tidbits but no answers. They've been back for 3 days, but no wonderful review of their good time when others shared their experiences.

Do we trust ppl who are not being forthright and honest about being there, just teasing with crumbs of info, and why would they keep this quiet?

This is a need to know folks.. Big time. No answers have
came from them about their attendance...WHY?

There was a contest on 95.5 KLOS in LA that gave away 2 pairs of tickets, one on Thursday and one on Friday of last week during their morning show. You had to guess the sequencing of this FM "Montage" and guess the right order of the songs correctly to win. So while I didnt hear about the fan club giving away tickets, KLOS had the 4 I mentioned.

I have often wondered about 1) what kind of perks do the administrators of that board get and 2) why are they so reluctant to share that info with other board members? Below you will find a post by Trin. Now, ask yourself. Why would someone give away tickets for absolutely free? She must have been given some sweet seats to that show in exchange for her duties as an administrator. Not that I have so much of a problem with that, but at least be upfront about it.

Jonathan

"I have two tickets for the Gund Arena in the first section. I bought them to cover myself in the event I couldn't find better seats. They are Row Y first section...

I will give these away to one of you fans on this site! That’s right I did say give, not at cost, but free of charge!

We need to come up with a little contest to determine the winner.
Does anyone have an idea for a contest? It will have to be something done online, so that everyone can see who the winner is. I don't want to be accused of favoritism. I will not count anyone out of this contest... If you win you will get the tix. You will be required to pay for shipping. Does this sound good to anyone?

So who really is the super fans? not them! its all us who have been in the know for all these years. This is screw you the real fans on that board and who cares if you spend 80 bucks on a fan club that is NOTHING but a cheap freakin joke! Amen to that...I have been a fan for a few years and not nearly as involved as you, but, I have NEVER heard of them until micks board...and hope to never hear of them again. Something bout the rehearsal is wrong. If you were perked for being an admin, why would you hide it?

There is nothing to wonder about... If you are in the good graces with the Almighty JT then you get the perks... simple as that. Well, it must be nice to be the only person in the world that does not need to buy toilet paper or use a bidet...

You can bet your sweet asses that they don't need regular tickets to the show.. They have thier little backstage passes and preferred seating all lined up...

I swore myself never to post on Mick's BB again after one of my freinds got stabbed in the back again for the umpteenth time...

I will also never pre-order anything from a website when in fact Best Buy comes through on release day with both the regular CD and the Limited Edition that was denied existance because of the threat of pre-order CD cancellations.. No effort was ever made as promised to "upgrade" CD's to the Limited Edition ones... And that poster that came with the Limited Edition CD is a piece of freaking CRAP that I could have printed myself on my own inkjet printer.. They could have at least used high quality paper... :distress:

Karma is a bitch and she is going to get even...

I notice that Trin posted his receipt to his front row seats and his airline itinerary for his trip out for the rehearsal show... So, first off, did the presale not provide him with good seats? Or, was it that the two fronts were gone? So, even JT would have to scalp seats probably to get good ones... It would seem to me that he would not do them in HIS name.

And so what about the itinerary...He just confirmed that he went, not anything else...right? RIGHT. Ever heard of reimbursements?

Well, well, well. I haven't been on Mick's site or the "official site" in a while. The vibe was so bad the last time I went, I just decided that was it. As far as the two admins., I think we've had their number for a long time now. I'm not surprised they were there. It wouldn't surprise me to see them in other places as well. It kind of reminds me of the girls and guys that the crew would bring in to hang out during a show. They were there for a reason and they paid for their experience in their own way. Once they were finished with them, they were cast aside like used toilet paper. Of course most of those people knew that was the score. So like Watchdevil so eloquently stated in his post...what comes around goes around... These two people are just as much accessories to the crime as the criminal himself. Sleep well...

I hate to get dragged back into this since I was just starting to feel better towards the band. I never go to that disgraceful site anymore because it's the only way I can keep from being upset with the band for what's gone down and what is still going down there. I wish I had never read this thread.

Now it's pretty clear to me that a certain twosome is getting paid back for putting cetain other people in their place, and for doing a little hacking on the side. I can't believe this.

Hey! What happened to the $1,000 a head meet and greet? You say there's going to be a meet and greet but it's only for board admins of the "official" website? Gratis, of course.

Pardon me. I have to go throw up now. :( :(

I notice that I am being spoken poorly of on Micks site for questioning why we were not being told about the "super admins" getting rehearsal tickets, but, they are not being asked why they kept it a secret? Doesn't anyone over there wonder why they would be told to not tell anyone else?

Why is it that you are seeking war if you question something like that? If there is nothing to question, then there is no war. WHat up with dat? Sad bunch over there. The sheep.

I love how they keep avoiding the question, too. Did you or did you not get rehearsal tickets from Jonathan Toad? Come on, it's not that hard. If they WERE at the rehearsal (and I believe that Mrs. Mick's Balls confirmed that they were), why the hell didn't they post reviews? Why wouldn't they want to share the experience? (Quote from Mrs. MickBalls: "I know that I'm going to enjoy this tour more than I have any other tour because I'll be sharing the whole thing with everyone here and helping with it in my own small way by being a board admin and helping you all as much as I can.") Well, you're not doing too much sharing, honey. Did a certain someone tell them NOT to say anything? If so, why? Sounds mighty shady to me. But of course, I'm not surprised.

I went over to that board for the first time in a long time. As you can see, NOTHING has changed. It does look like people are finally get PO about the other issues such as no new streaming videos, etc. It's about time. I put a request up to the administrators to show us a seating chart of the seats that were offered in a Presale--do think I got any kind of response? Jk has been MIA over there for awhile it seems. It just goes from bad to worse. I'm still really thinking about wearing a "Jonathan Knight is a d*ck" shirt on opening night.

It's clear they were there so why the secrecy? Did the KGB get to them first ??

And to comment on the subject fo the thread... I am in no way attacking Jackie or Trin here but I do think it is bad that rehearsal tickets were not up for grabs for other folks on the board - or at least for fan club members. A radio station was giving away 200 tickets the day before! Surely tickets could have been made available via the official site??!! I posted over there to suggest this ages ago but it was ignored.

It is so interesting over there. BarbaraStevie, who seems to be a really nice person, made a comment that I found odd. She said, "I am so glad that you guys had a good time" or something to that effect.

How in the world would she know if they had a good time? They are YET to tell you what it was like. You would think that they would have written and posted a detailed account of their exciting night, but, instead they are deflecting the issue with copies of airline itineraries, and receipts for brokered tickets.

Does anyone wonder why Jackie is giving away the seats that she originally bought? Or she said that she pans to give to one of the wonderful fans? If you bought seats to the regular show with your glorious fan club presale, then had to also buy them from a broker to get your front row, could you afford to just give away your first purchase?

Maybe so. But, I would need to recoup my original spent money to help offset the cost of the overpriced front row. I really think that JT can not get front row comped anymore than we can. So, if he wants them, he has to buy them like we do.

Having to do that speaks loudly for the benefits of the fan club, huh? And, receipts are not an answer. Why they did not tell their friends they even went is the answer. And, why they STILL are not telling them is the answer to my question and I hope to others.

So, why will they not tell you? JT never even responded to many requests for these tickets for disgruntled fans who were ripped off by the fan club.

JT's ego seems to be bigger and more important than ever being concerned with the fan club members, with how he cheated them and continues to cheat them. Subsequent presales offered no better seating than the first as far as I can see.

And, to the person who posted over there saying that there are thousands of ppl in the fan club, get real. There are only 1300 or so members of this wonderful board, and this has been around for ages and is so well respected. This board is a good representation of the Macs internet fan base. If there are 1000 members of the fan club, I would be shocked. :distress:

Pip, I understand you never wanting to blame other fans for some of these dirty doings. You're very diplomatic in that way. The way I see it, if certain so-called fans weren't so quick to sell out other fans to get rewards, the outrage against the band and their fan club would not still be festering in the fan community.

When a fan club director operates an official website as a marketing tool for financial gain, it should NOT present an image to the fan community that such a site is anything BUT a marketing tool. Otherwise, the whole operation is suspect, especially when such a strict form of censoship is enforced on the message boards they operate. A lot of people have said otherwise, but I believe, from a fairness and ethical standpoint, an official site should have paid employees who are not active in the fan community. They should get a weekly documented paycheck for carrying out their work. If fans are on the board of an open fan forum like this one, that is different. There's not much to be gained or lost letting people speak out on any topic or take issue with the band and their employees. When a site is aimed at selling the band within the fan community as Mick's site obviously is, and it has financial gain as it's purpose, I believe it's very bad form to operate the site any other way.

It's even worse to present the obvious picture to other fans that a couple of opportunistic ones are being singled out for special treatment as payback for enforcing censorship on the fan board, for inciting flame wars on the official fan site and other fan message boards, doing certain computer deeds that some of us have suffered from, and in general, attacking other fans, "slapping some sense" into them (to use Todd's own words) and keeping them "in line" against backlash aimed at the band and their official site and it's creator/director.

There's a lot of duplicity at the core of eveything going on at the Fleetwood Mac fan club/official website. It makes the band appear one of two things. Either they are very ignorant about their public image, or only interested in the money grab. Either one equally lessens respect for them among all but the most ardent, rabid, "they can do no wrong" fans. I for one will never think of the band the same way after what I've come to know about their club and the unethical man they've publicly thanked who runs it. This latest insult: paying off fan operatives with perks while rubbing other fans noses in it, is exactly what this fan club is all about. I can say I'm disgusted but I can't say I'm surprised by it. I still hold the band accountable for the actions of Todd and his operatives.

I did my part to get word to the band about what's going on. I never heard back from anyone. I did get a fan club dues refund email. I'm sure that was done to get rid of me and my criticism once and for all. It worked on a certain level. I never go to that site and I don't care what's going on there. I also care very little about the tour and the band's success or failure. I DO like the cd. I DO praise it to people I think will like it. However, I also go out of my way to tell as many people as possible about my views on the fan club. In the eyes of some I guess that makes me "not a true fan."

Pip, you are loyal and forgiving. I like to think that I am as well, but when it comes to this, I guess I'm not loyal to a fault. For me it's the principle. I really respect you for your opinion, and please don't think I'm saying your loyalty is a fault. You are a diplomat and I nominate you to head the UN Commitee for rebuilding Iraq. :)

I do believe the two "fans turned administrators" are fans, but I believe it's because they joined in with the mass deletions and systematic cleansing of the boards that has caused the anger that has been leveled at them.

As to why they didn't post that they attended the concerts, I suspect they were afraid they would be accused of getting some sort of favors. As to why NO rehearsal concerts were offered to "the official Fleetwood Mac fan club members", I don't know. Maybe that should be the issue. I think it's clear the fan/administrators are doing the bidding of Mr. Todd, and they received a reward. Rewarded by someone that has ignored the rest of us.

The main issue is the official Fleetwood Mac fan club has gotten nothing. I suspect Jackie and Trin are aware of that, and didn't want to brag about what they DID get. Yet I don't get understand their deceit. "A little bird told me" when in fact they were THERE. Fans have been posting about what they got:

1-Lousy seats (The Top Down sales), stolen passwords, sales that were not started on time, etc.
2-stuff on the official board they should have gotten as part of FREE PR for the band (pictures, videos, etc) and hardly ANY of that. The Q&A that was supposed to be so special was a flop.
3-PROMISES of stuff to come, with no substance
4-No communication with the issues they have had with the official site. News has come largely from THE FANS. Not the site.
5-An unbelievable amount of bannings and deletions when they posted their frustrations, when their emails and phone calls were ignored.
6-a discography that was stolen DIRECTLY from The Penguin. (which disappeared after Marty confront it on this site)

I don't know why Jackie and Trin aligned themselves to Mr. Todd, knowing how unhappy fans are. I guess they thought they could "help." They are helping Mr. Todd ban and delete. They are working in junction with an organization that has ripped off the fans and at least one fan site that we are familiar with. I question their judgment in aligning themselves with that. And now they received a reward for it. Something that hasn't been offered to others in the fan club. I don't care that it wasn't offered to "Mick's fan board," but why not "something" to those that paid to join the official site. If that is why Jackie and Trin feel "bad" (suggested by their hiding the fact that they were even there), I think they are correct in thinking others see that as an issue.

I think it's important that the name calling stop. It's not advancing the argument and those that have been burned need to keep the focus on the issues.

What if the band can't do anything about this guy? I didn't join the club because I heard it was a rip off. I heard how the Dixie Chicks club sold the bad seats first to their beloved (gag) fans and held back the good seats for sale later to the general public.

What if the band gave up rights to the fan club? Does anyone know if they have any control over what happens in the fan club? I heard that with these Internet clubs the artists sometimes sell the rights and the fan clubs can do whatever they want. If the clubs rip people off the bands can behave as if they have no say because they give up control when they commission the clubs.

Does anyone know for sure if FM has any control of the fan club? Has anyone asked for an explanation from their reps or managers? If they had ripped me off I would want an explanation.

T-shirts and a great big banner that simply says "I WAS RIPPED OFF BY THE FM FAN CLUB" might be the way to get the word to the band. They may not be able to do anything but at least they'll know the reason why there are so many empty seats everywhere they go.

I think that the band can do something, but, as with most things, you have to get things in order to do them. I have no idea what will happen to the fan club if and when they fire JT. That is something that I guess they would have to work out before firing him.

As for the merchandising, Chris Nicks bid on and won that. JT does not have tour rights, and so I would guess no rights to it. And, JT is a bridge burner, you know?

I would think the band sold the rights, and now that's that.
After a certain point, I suspect their participation is strictly voluntary. The deal probably is that they all get a certain percentage of the proceeds, and the evil JT runs the site in the way he sees fit. I don't know the details, but every show business deal I have dealt with runs in a similar manner.

Yes, the issues need to be addressed over there. Of course, they will be deleted or whole threads taken down. That is the only way that they can deal with it because Jonathan Todd is NOT going to answer and he thinks that he just got rid of all the trouble by disrespecting us and hitting the ban button.

Well, he created more trouble than he ever bargained for. Jackie will overmoderate forever, or long as she is in that position of "power" that she feels. She has to comment on and to everything, but, that is a diversion as well. She has something to say to the few who are bold enough to complain, either her or Trin, but, it is the same ole BS.

That God and the King of France and Yogi Bear have to all approve it before the club can tell us that they will be on Letterman. If you guys buy that, you are wrong. They are diverting..but, they learned from the master. And, next comes ignoring,,,but not Jackie. She has to moderate. Validates who she is. It is really sad.

After a certain point, I suspect their participation is strictly voluntary. The deal probably is that they all get a certain percentage of the proceeds, and the evil JT runs the site in the way he sees fit. I don't know the details, but every show business deal I have dealt with runs in a similar manner.
My husband said the exact same thing when I filled him in on all the **** that was going down. JT and his minions are out to make money and the Fleetwood Mac fans are the candidates for this business venture

LMAO Pip!

PS - there was no radio station that gave away 200 seats in LA - only two pairs of 2 so a total of 4 tickets, FYI. However I still feel the fan club should have been offered them.

Or perhaps Marty since his discography was stolen.

Hi Gypsy Sara,

I don't have the info but, can get it. I have two friends who both live in the vicinity of LA and both won tickets, but, not from the same station. I think the thing is that they were had by several stations in the "area", which I am assuming means you could drive to the show in a reasonable time frame. I will ask and let you know..

I spoke to my friends and the two of them each got two tickets, one got theirs from arrow and the other from KLOS. They said that there were about 68 ppl on the bus with them and they all had won tickets. Apparently they were all loaded onto a bus and taken there.

This is interesting. Did your friends say they saw the admins on the bus or were they husseled in the back door?

Just curious. ;)

I'm sure they slithered in through the back door right behind the big snake himself. These people ingratiated their way into this position from the very begining. JT allowed it, it served his purpose. It's dispicable. A friend of mine recently lost her job for receiving too many emails on the company computer. If I had as many enemies as some of those people do, I'd be looking over my shoulder.

Even IF Jackie & Trinity paid for their own air fare and hotels, they cannot see how this looks to the

THE "EYES OF THE *FlEETWOOD MAC* WORLD"

I think LESS than 12 people posted that they thought it was great that they got to go as a PERK for all that they do. The REST of the FM FAN COMMUNITY is sickened by what continues to go on over at that message board. By banning so many people they have no one left who can post and say what they truly feel about what they're doing. Most people who have not been banned have stopped posting there because they are disgusted by the POLICE STATE that the message board has become.

Jackie and Trinity are so blinded by Jonathan Todd that they can't see how wrong it was for not ONE ticket to be given away to the fanclub or the message board, but they were given tickets. MAYBE the reaction to their deceit would not have been so great if the club or site had done what fans had been beggging for them to do for months and give away a ticker or two. They still have not posted one word about their experience, what's the secret? Why not share the way they encourage and expect everyone else to share with the fans on that site? They've been asked numerous times but choose to keep silent. They also never discosed it even though they had been home for days, what was the big secret if they felt they had nothing to be ashamed of? They never explained why they kept it a secret if there was nothing to hide and nothing to be ashamed of.

Jonathan Todd is being compensated by the band to run that site and fanclub. I say he's got a great thing going when he's not only got them doing all of the work, but gets them to do his dirty work and taking the constant heat for all of his lies. I never said Jonathan Todd was smart, but he is a master manipulator, I'll give him that. One day when all of the lies are told and all of the truths come out, MAYBE, Jackie and Trinity will realize how they've been used and what they've done. MAYBE Jackie and Trinity will one day realize how THEY helped ruin what should have been a great time for the online FM community. The community was here long before Jackie & Trinity and Jonathan Todd came along, and it will surely be here and THRIVE, long after they've gone.

They ARE being manipulated, but they're going along willingly. As long as the band and their people ignore what's going on, why wouldn't they believe JTs the right one to cozy up to? The silence of the band and their people lends credibility to everything he says and does. They all know how it looks but the don't care. Why should they?

I have a hard time with any person who can condone his behavior and brutalize fellow fans in an effort to defend him.

At this point, you'd have to be a moron to believe anything that comes out of his mouth and not see through his lies. They've conspired with him and done their best to twist the promises that were made to the members. What type of business changes and manipulates the wording in their agreements at will on a weekly basis, without the other party's consent? Not only have they watched this, they've taken part in defending and twisting those words.

When this is all over, the two of them can crawl right back into the hole they crawled out of, that's where they belong.
