Why does everyone think Peacekeeper is losing steam as a single? I just checked radio and records, it's again at #4 on AAA, moved into the top 10 on the AC chart at #9, and moved up two spots to I think #16 on Hot AC. I can't get the latter half of the Billboard singles, so I don't know what it's doing there.
To answer my own question, I think it's that no one's listening to the radio much anymore. We have the album now, and we're not trying to find Peacekeeper on the radio anymore. At least I know that's why I thought it was floundering. Then I realized, wait, how the Hell should I know? I haven't listened to the radio since the album came out. But Peacekeeper seems to be a decent hit, considering they're aiming at AC and NOT Hot 100. Their presence on Hot 100 I think is just an added bonus.
