After such a long drought, we are being ASSAULTED with new music from the Mac and it's members these past two years. If you think about it, we've gotten an incredible amount of music from a band that RARELY puts out new material.

TISL: 13 songs
SYW: 18 songs + 2 from LE
GOS: 17 songs

That's a total of 50 G.D. songs in two years! Plus, a collection of new demos, outtakes, and compilation songs. I'm VERY impressed with the output! Remember back in the day when you had to settle for 10-11 songs on an album every 6 damn years?!
:laugh:

Hate to ask the stupid question, but I've seen it mentioned a few times. What is GOS?

GOS is Gift of Screws,which was/is Lindsey's solo album before he started in on Say You Will.

I knew he was working on one. Was it released? I had never heard the title or seen it mentioned but since people keep referencing songs from it (or, as above, mentioning 17 tracks)... makes me wonder if I missed it!

If you listen to SYW, that's basically GOS. GOS was never released, because Warner Brothers wouldn't release it, so Lindsey worked on the new FM album instead. You can find his GOS demos floating around on various FM sites or on kazza probably.

Welcome to the Ledge, btw!

'Gift Of Screws' was never officially released, but the songs leaked out to the fan community around 2000/2001.

Several of the songs ended up on 'Say You Will' (as I'm sure you've read), so for clarity's sake, the list should probably read:

TISL = 13
SYW = 18 + 2 from the limited edition version
GoS = 14 still unreleased

Don't forget to include "Touched by an Angel".

Lord Bodak, there are a lot more GOS songs out there. There is a link that someone usually posts when this question comes up.

Who has the link? Let's help our newbie.

Carne, the link I used to have to the 'GoS' mp3s is now outdated. :(

Hopefully someone else will be able to help us out here.

Someone named Joe just posted the URL for the site with the 'GoS' mp3s, on Tracy's site (http://www.burnish.net).

Not sure if it was our DownOnRodeo or not, but thank you, Joe, whoever you may be! :)
