After getting a closer look with pictures Les posted on another forum, I'd have to say, Stevie, if you're reading this, sorry! You look pretty damn good if I do say so myself. And actually, I own this cardigan...lol

I thought the cardigan was hideous and made her look like a grandma, but that' JMO. :o And if she's going to go for the Ann Taylor look, why not try a red cardigan, or even a blue one. Venture out!

I love her, but she needs to dress to suit her fugure, which she clearly did not here.

We've got to stop discussing "the dress". Last night, after watching "What Not To Wear" on TLC, I dreamed that I was taking Stevie to the mall to revamp her wardrobe!

Oh God! Me too!
I was sitting there watching What Not To Wear, and all I could think about was getting Stevie to wear something else! As they were throwing all that woman's clothes away, I was visualizing the black dress going into the orange trash can!
I think physically she looks beautiful. I think her hair is nice. I read on another board where someone said her hair looked like a busted hay bale. I thought that was really not true. Her skin and hair are beautiful. My only complaint was that on Leno she looked tired, and she could have punched up the lipstick a bit.
I'm not going to get the black dress out of my mind, but I will stop ragging about it.
Until the next time! ;)!

Ohmigod, me too! I was soooooooo visualizing Wayne and Stacey going to town on her!
That woman cracked me up; she was really going after Stacey at every chance she got! "I looked better this morning." LMAO

I don't care much about the dress.. she's always rocked the black dress.
But. She needs to rock the hairbrush. It's seriously picking my bellybutton that her hair looks like crap lately. It looked good on the Today show.. but every time else- my God almighty.

But it's not exactly a busted hay bale! LOL!
She'll have bitchin' hair on the tour, even if she can't break out of the black dress.
And yeah, that woman last night on WNTW was giving Stacey a hard time.... "You're shirt's too tight" LOL!!
And speaking of hair.....
Wayne plays with his hair too much!
And the hairdresser who says he hasn't washed his hair in 3 months! GAG!!

I guess a part of me isnt so critical of her appearance cause... well, she's just aging, thats all. Gracefully I may add! But still aging... she cant wear those tight flimsy dresses anymore, lol!

I dunno about that, gypsysara, lol!
The black corset dress is pretty T-I-G-H-T!
I went to the TISL show in Atlanta with a friend who isn't a huge Stevie fan, (mistake), and she said, "She looks like she can't wait to get backstage so she take that thing off and breathe!"
I had to admit it was true!
haha!

Where were the other pics posted? She looks GREAT in the one posted here. Looks like she even lost a little more weight. Why did she look so tired on Leno but so good in this pic? She reminds me of the "MILF" from the movie "American Pie" in this photo. Does anyone see what I'm talking about?

The camera can be unkind...especially tv cameras..
Everyone who has posted about meeting Stevie at Leno or the Today show, or saw her at the dress rehearsal, raves about how fantastic she looks up close, and youthful. (and how different than what we see on tv, dramatically BETTER)
she didn't look overly tired to me... for her age?? no way! i mean, i'm sure she IS tired! i'm 40-ish, and let me go glance in the mirror... EGADS! now THAT looks tired!
I don't think many people over the age of 40 are making these "tired/ old" comments... (the comments are what is tired and old)

Oh dear lord, RISSA! Say it ain't so, you actually think she looks good there?
I am gonna have to go with sarah on this one and say she definitly needs to beat her hairstylist with a brush! It looks like she rolled out of bed and tried to smooth it down as best she could as she rushed on stage.
I haven't gotten to see any of their TV appearances so i didn't see the Leno stuff so maybe it is just a bad angle or picture but she looks bad! Look at how red her hand is from wringing it and gripping the mic when she gets nervous (anyone else noticed that she does that alot and picks at her nails in interviews?)
As for the black dress...who ever told her it is sliming never saw her in that dress...it totally makes her butt look big with the flared skirt. I love me some stevie, but being a "big boned" or maybe "big butted" girl myself I know that black can only flatter so much.
She looked great in the pink outfit in that "Making of Rumours" DVD. SHe is a blonde with pale skin...she can pull off most colors. Stevie, dear, if i had the money I would do my own "what not to wear" on you and I can gaurantee the black dress would be the first thing I threw out!

Really, when you look back, Stevie's always had that ghetto booty. Even back in the mid 70s....total J.Lo booty.

I think the basic hairstyle is ok-I like her growing the bangs out. And it looks really long (without any of those awful extensions) but the ends did look very frizzy. She must get professional styling before these shows, right? Has her hairdresser heard of a straightening iron to smooth out those ends?
And she usually has cool dresses for publicity shots-and lots of times they aren't black. Can't she haul some of those out for these performances (except for that red country western square dancer looking dress she wore for the cover of Rolling Stone when F Mac was on the cover for the Dance!!).

I liked that red dress. She looks good in red. Atleast it was a change from black. I can just imagine how her closet/ dressing room looks. All the colored clothing are outfits left over from the 70's & 80's and her current racks are probably covered in black, black and more black....all different shades of course.
As for the ghetto booty....shake it girl-shake it...just don'e cover it with black lacy fluff!!!!!
