I would say 'Gypsy,' but it's really nothing without Lind's production...

So my vote goes to 'Storms'. So natural, so evocative, so beautiful!!!

I hate the word BEST, because we all have our own OPINION as to what song we think is BEST. I think which SN song is your FAVORITE is a better question. I mean, we can ALL pretty much agree that Gypsy, GDW and Landslide are MASTERPIECES, but there MAY be a few fans out there who don't like these songs. Who knows?

ANYWAYS, that said...my fave Stevie FM song is Dreams because I love the vibe of it, the lyrics are cool and when that bassline comes on the radio or on CD, I crank that sucker up and SING every freakin word along with her! Also, her voice is just perfect on it!

"Dreams", too.

..but I think I'll always come back to Sara... (but like smthng said, the production goes hand in hand)

Mind you 'Not Make Believe' has been riding pretty high on my list for some time now.. I don't know what it is about that song, but it works for me!

So many choices when there is no choice!!! I think in the end Sara, although many could be there as well.

This is too hard :(

Well, I would say nothing from the new album as of yet has a chance of being my favourite, so ill plump for an oldy but a goody, 'GYPSY'

Three-way tie:

Storms
Silver Springs (NOT the studio version, bleh!)
Gypsy

Those songs, IMO, DEFINE Stevie Nicks and who she is. :)

1. Angel
Bizarre, I never liked it in the first place, but for some years now, I find it strangely haunting, plus it has some blues-feeling.

2. Gypsy

3. Rock a little (go ahead Lily)
the b-side of the single "I can't wait"-version, kind of "groovy".

All the other favorites change on a daily basis :)

Really tough choice, but my faves are (in no particular order):

Crystal
Rhiannon
Dreams
Gold Dust Woman
Silver Springs

Fantastic tunes, all. Stevie's reputation as a songwriter could rest on those five alone, if it had to.

I've gotta say Storms.

It just does not feel right to only list one song as my favorite. lol. There are soooo many more! But yeah, Storms is probably at the top of my list. Goodbye Baby is pretty darn close, though. :D

I'd like to leave you with something warm.....
But, never have I been a blue, calm sea........
I have always...... been a storm......."

well, I'm so in love with "Illume" from the new record.. but it's too soon.. to say it's my all time favorite. I may not even want to hear it a year from now.. you never know with music..

Rhiannon is my favorite.. the single edit version from the VBofFM cd.. I first heard it in 1976 and have been listening to it ever since... and I'm one of those who still enjoy hearing it in concert.. :-)

Landslide, Gold Dust Woman, Sara, Gypsy, Smile At You are amazing songs, just to name a few...
But I think her best Mac song ever is Rhiannon in its best form, the way she did it live in the 70's (yes, I am obsessed with the Rosebud version!).
