the album is very nostalgic

it reminds me of the 80s fleetwood Mac, the songs stevie has are very 80s to me and the production of the songs is reminiscent of the 80s too.

There's a mirage feel to What's the world coming to, a lot of 80s nostaligia is thrown through this cd, I will say that I like that.

Destiny Rules makes me sad cause it reminds me of the 80s Mac stuff so much and taht reminds me of 99 when I first got into them heavily:p not a fun time.

I would be willing to bet that Lindseys mind was focused on making this sound like a follow up to Tango as opposed to a follow up to the Fleetwood Mac works that came after it. As such, I love it, Tango has always been the big one for me and this album seems to refer back to that sound.

I was trying to describe the album to a friend and I've pretty much decided that the best term to describe it is "sparkly." The album really has a sparkly sound to it with its ringing guitars and fast arpeggios (sp?).
