I'm guessing SYW will defintely debut in the top 10, but probably not at no.1.

I'm going with # 3.

OK, lets start with the predictions...

I really, really hope that it's #1. I'll cross my fingers and pray for that.

However, I'm going to say definately top 5. If "Trouble in Shangri-la " can debut at #5 then I think "Say You Will" will debut at #2.

Susie (still hoping for #1...just to prove something to all those who doubt the power of THE MAC)

Well, I can't really see it doing that well in the UK, so I'd say #20(or maybe a bit higher)

I think top five considering the success of the VBOFM double disc.

I'm thinking it will definitely be in the Top 5.. although I am truly hoping for a #1 debut! I think that would really be awesome for the band and fans!

Will all of the different versions of the album damage the charting of the album? I mean, does it count as a different album if the sales are split between the regular, limited edition, and dvd-a?

What's up guys? No one has said: IT IS GOING TO DEBUT AT #1!
So allow me: IT IS GOING TO DEBUT AT #1!
Didn't the Dance debut at #1? TISL at #5? This album has been getting some pretty serious promotion (a lot more than any other "old geezer" bands do) so I say #1!!!!!!!

ok lets look at the competition. We got Fleetwood Mac and Kelly Clarkson. Now how many Idol fans are going to pick up her CD is the big question.

The best chance is in the first week, so it's important that everyone buys their copy(ies) in the FIRST week. The pre-orders and limited edition set will both count towards the album's first week soundscan totals, so it already has pretty good momentum.

In the top five for sure. But I am still hoping for a #1 debut.

This really is the question of whether they'll debut at #1. What other artists will be releasing albums on the 15th? I wouldn't count out Kelly Clarkson simply because of how much her single sold. A Moment Like This went gold, and that's like, impossible for a single to do these days, BUT, then again, she didn't have an album out, just this single. So, that could account for why it sold so well. I'm not sure, Clarkson may steal FM's thunder because American Idol is huge. Not to mention, you still have that 50 CEnt album selling very well, and Linkin Park's new album sold over 800,000 copies to debut at #1 on last week's charts. They are also very popular, so we'll have to see how much staying power they have. Plus, as far as I've seen, NOBODY knows except most of us that FM is even releasing a new album. Everyone I talk to is like, "Oh, really?" It's pretty much a wild card of events.

Access Hollywood reviewed the top selling cds for last week and the biggest seller was only about 250,000 copies. If that number is accurate and Kelly Clarkson is the only competition with a new release, it's very likely FM could take the #1 spot.

I've been very disapointed in the lack of advertising and promotion that's been done for this cd up until now. Many people who aren't die hard fans don't know that FM is releasing a new cd next week. Even if they debut at #1 it's going to be pretty hard to stay on top with so little buzz about the cd.

I just checked Billboard. Linkin Park did drop to 265,000 units this week.

I checked the new releases which don't seem accurate at all. I couldn't find Kelly Clarkson or Fleetwood Mac (they listed a Live In Boston CD) on the list.

The new releases this week and next that could be competition in terms of units are, Everclear and Ice Cube this week, and Nelly next week. I think Everclear and Nelly could sell mega units which would be stiff competition for FM to take #1. Does anyone know if these other releases are accurate?

What about the Lisa Marie Presely album? People are giving it good reviews. It will just be in its second week, but Fleetwood Mac is a big name. I'm thinking 750,000 copies in first week???
